you know what i would've loved to see?? a scene after donella reveals hugo had been working for her like the one in rapunzel's return where raps pretends everything's okay just to break down over cass' items an episode after but it's varian pretending everything's okay with nuru and yong just to cry over how the whole time he thought hugo was on their side once he was in the library... it would've been amazing

hello to those two people who are reading this IT'S TIME FOR MY STUPID HEADCANONS

Hugo is like EXTREMELY touch starved, but he is also acting like he doesn't like hugs and other similar stuff because he doesn't want to be so close to the 7K team, and also because I don't think Donella ever showed him any kind of affection, so he's just not used to it

BUUUUUUT then Hugo became closer to the team, fell in love and realized that he did not "dislike" touching, but rather was afraid/not used to it

So after he left Donella's side he tried to be more open to hugs and other things like holding hands(maybe he even hugged Varian after some heart-to-heart conversation, idk, I just think it would be cute)

well, in short, Hugo is like an animal that was rescued from bad conditions (which is very true)
