For the last year I hadn’t promoted my singles or anything for that matter. I didn’t even do any radio and media roll out before, and during, the first week of this album. I wanted to see the organic reach with a few posts here and there and that’s it. It’s safe to say I was surprised. I thought I’d get like 20 views on each thing lol but people showed up and showed out. I appreciate everyone sitting down for an hour and just taking the message(s) in. I’ve received a lot of feedback and it entering the charts at number 4 meant a lot especially with no push. The feedback has been incredible and I just want to save them all. It means a lot to hear how it touched many and how many relate to it and felt the emotion. “Even the artwork says a lot”… it’s true! For the people who were strong enough to admit they cried to the album… thank you. It means so much that you were able to allow yourself to tap into your own emotions, relate, care… all of it. Thank you to everyone who shared anything to do with it. Bought it. Saved it. Reposted anything anywhere. Thank you. I have so much to say but I am a bit overwhelmed atm especially with looking at my social media after like 2 months. I can’t thank you enough. I haven’t posted for 8 weeks / 2 Months. During this time I have still been creating and releasing a song every 2 weeks.I would like to say thank you to everyone who has supported me and continue to supports me in / with my career.
With no promotion and no posting I wanted to see what would happen to my streams and I seemed to still gain THOUSANDS of streams across all platforms and a large number of purchases, not to mention my Merch dropped and the support from a lot … I have been truly grateful for. When you’re constantly battling. Constantly losing people. It makes you think. It makes you wonder. It makes you think about life. Before, during and after. You haven’t lost yourself you’re just reshaping yourself. It’s so hard to think that. But if you need to read this every day to remember then read it. Just because something has gone it doesn’t mean you can’t rebuild it. Burned bridges doesn’t mean you can’t build a stronger and better one. Nothing is impossible. No matter the situation just know you got this. Everything takes time. It may take a while. But you get there. If you hold on and never let go. Of what you came here for. You may not know now. You can change the frame, but the picture remains the same… in some cases. When you’ve been through so much, unfortunately almost everything changes. I often reflect a lot, and I looked back at better days. I look back at things that have been placed on me through no fault or choice of my own. But I stand here, in silence, pushing on, being a protector of those I love and what I love. Often like this picture. That kid that wants to be happy and chill watching Spongebob in a big ass house eating reeses puffs… is still inside. Hence this jacket I guess lol. That guy who loves bright colours, blue especially. Flamboyant designs and creations. Still there. I guess it lives through creating these songs every two weeks and less instagram pictures. On that note I’m starting to care less about the ‘grid’. Not that I ‘cared’ about it before but I care about my career. But I will forever to continue to go against the grain and with my heart. Go with my passion. These blue UNCs remind me of something. This Jacket reminds me of something. The worried face of spongebag reminded me of me. Being hooked, into thoughts and into … many systems that I’m no designed for. Because I was made to design my own and continue on my own path. Over the years I’ve seen a lot of ‘dads’ but not a lot of fathers. I know many with no fathers around, many who don’t know their fathers, many … well… Unfortunately the definition of a ‘father’ can seem very rare due to many things and the way things in this world. However today, as usual, is to focus on the positive and not the negative. Also, what is a father to me? To me, a father isn’t defined as the man who makes the child / helps create the child biologically. It’s a man who extends his hands and time to help the child’s raising and his heart to love the child through everything and anything. Blood doesn’t make you the father. Being a father comes from the heart. Anybody can make a baby, but it takes a real man to raise a child. A man who stands by them, supports them. The love of a father is like a sky. You can not touch it, but it exists all the time. A father should be the anchor upon which his children stand. Fathers are men who dared to place the world’s hopes and dreams in their children. You look up to them no matter how tall you grow. A father’s love is eternal and without end. The value of a loving father has no price.

How can we reposition ourselves to the next phase in our lives? Quite frankly, I have no idea. It’s been a tough few years for me, and I know its been a tough few years for most of us. What I do know is that we must continue to strive for what we want and what we desire to achieve in life. Our success is, somewhat, in our hands. There may be barriers along the way. Things may take longer… MUCH longer than we thought. But we must fight for what we want. I know with everyone around me that I care about I would and will do anything to keep our progression and growth. Yes there may be one step backwards sometimes, and hurdles, but that won’t stop us. Nothing should stop me from carry the weight of; support for the people I care for. Which links to the Medicom Bearbrick sneakers I’m wearing. Weird right? Well if you read my captions you know I’m able to link anything lol. To Bear something ;) means to carry the weight of something. But deeper than that, the animal… bear. The bear spiritually represents strength and confidence. Wearing these I plan to skate and I will continue to provide strength whilst kick pushing down the road and through everything on the journey that I am on. I aim to stand against adversity; taking action and leadership. The spirit of the the bear indicates it’s time for healing or using healing abilities to help self or others, and thats what I plan to do as mentioned in a previous post within the last week. It is time to rest and heal in many areas but also I will use that time to help others, as you can see I’ve been sending packages everyday to pay it forward. Not only because of @offspringHQ but also to continue to spread joy and a feeling of worth. Yes the world has ‘sort of opened up again’ but it still hasn’t really. We still are not ‘free’ or as ‘free’ as we once were. Not only socially, but mentally the situation has changed us all. So I stand tall in these medicoms, with the spirit of the bear, being a strong source of support in times of difficulty.

Proud, I'm proud of what I am, Poems I speak are plug two type, Please oh please let plug two be, Himself, not what you read or write, I was thinking last night. All night. The worst promise you could break, is a promise to or for yourself. The worst thing you can do is not work on yourself. Working on others it great, and all but sometimes you must put yourself first or you can’t continue a legacy or build up on what you turuly desire. Because that leads to a weak foundation and things will crumble in the end.
Yeah, I’ve made mistakes, I’m not perfect. But I believe I’ve always had a good heart with everything, and never have done anything with any malicious intent. But its always left me with Me, Myself and I. Which brings me to these sneakers I’m wearing today. The Nike SB Dunk Low De La Soul. This pair is a tribute to the iconic rap trio De La Soul, who became a large part of skateboarding culture because of their uniquely offbeat and unorthodox style. This SB dunk low was inspired by 3 Feet High and Rising, their album which indeed features one of my favourite tracks by them “Me, Myself & I”. I even remember when it was featured in the Good Burger movie. lol. Working on yourself, working on “Me, Myself & I” is so important in going down your desired road. Changing your view and obtaining a High Self-Esteem. Because Low self-esteem is like driving through life with your hand-break on. So try approving of yourself and see what happens. Take some time, be alone for a bit. You’re always with yourself, so you might as well enjoy the company! Do your best to try and let go of any feeling of unworthiness. Thats what I plan to do. These aren’t hype, but they’re nice & thats how I like it. High SB Blazers are a nuisance to lace up and unlace, especially being one of the narrower skating shoes, so these can be perfect to skate in. Its about the comfortability in many senses when it comes to shoes. Yeah I have the odd shoe which aren’t very comfortable but bring me joy when wearing them because of the style, colourway or sikohette… but thats how it goes sometimes. But comfortability, durability and practicability should come into play too! Not JUST fashion or hype / others opinions. It brings me to ask you, how would your life be different if you stopped allowing other people to dilute or poison your day with their words or opinions? Let today be the day YOU stand strong in the truth of your beauty and journey through your day without attachment to the validation of others. Never be afraid to be different or love what you love. Never be afraid to be YOU or express yourselves. Whether with sneakers or anything else. Everyone has their own ways of expression. I believe we all have a lot to say, but finding ways to say it is more than half the battle! When the opinions of others do not matter you have truly mastered yourself!

I remember when this dropped on the @OffspringHQ raffle. They fully switched up the system and it wasn’t easy to enter. But I got through and I’m thankful. They’re mad comfortable, and I love the colourway. My first 700 V2s, and what a colourway to start on. Cream. Which brings me to discuss money… It's good to have money and the things that money can buy, but it's good, too, to check up once in a while and make sure that you haven't lost the things that money can't buy. People forget the importance of money as only a tool, and glorify it itself, but its not the money that is important. Like I just said, its a tool. It will take you wherever you wish, but it will not replace you as the driver. So it what you do with it that is important. What you experience with it and who you experience those times with. Its like buying roses. You use the money to buy roses, and the roses may die. But who you give the roses to, the memory of your gesture will mean more than anything and will forever remain in their mind as a loving memory. So the money itself isn’t everything. & Time is NOT money. Time is more valuable than money. You can get more money, but you cannot get more time. Too many people spend money they earned..to buy things they don't want..to impress people that they don't like. So one last thing, remember to experience wealth and not the glory of having money. Wealth can be the ability to fully experience life. If money is your hope for independence you will never have it. NEVER be controlled by these three things; your past, money and people. So I’m untying not only my laces but negative energy. As I said in my last post … It’s important to hear feelings and to say feelings whilst we are here. To hear there is support. To hear these things are important because ‘Its too late at the wake’. I breathe another day with no regrets to people I’ve fell out with, as I’ve tried and from my side I have made sure that I’ve said my piece for peace. I’ve made sure that I’ve not been childish and adult about every situation. & I’ve made sure I’ve treated everyone as fairly as possible (There are often margins of error but I’m human, also closer to some than others… thats life). I realised that you get your feelings hurt when you assume people are as kind as you. I realise unfortunately that’s not the case. However I still give and there are posts that you’ve seen showing I will still continue to pay forward. It won’t stop me from giving to those who I feel are deserving. Do you know why? Because I do things FROM LOVE, not FOR love! So today, I continue to untie negative bonds and strengthen positive ones.
