Art block has been terrible so here have a doodle I did last night and liked enough to color. I've been thinking about everyone's Battle of Red Mountain fits. I have Nerevar's as well but it's looking dire.

I was like what if everyone wore a mask to war? What if Dagoth Ur's mask is Voryn Dagoth's old war mask?

I had to think what Morrowind classes everyone would fit into kinda. The Dunmer (and the Chimer by extension, I suppose) really love their battlemages so it made sense to me to make Voryn a battlemage. I also thought of nightblade but idk.

This one is about the contrast of beauty and pain, nerevars inner conflict of having to prioritize his goals of becoming king over his adoration of voryn, about nerevars past and why he does not want to be in love, his fear and trauma, about voryns dedication to nerevar and attempts to comfort him even when he does not understand him, the tenderness between them. The strip on the left is hard to understand if you dont know my headcanons, but it is supposed to be nerevars past "lover" I also just really wanted to draw nerevar in pearls, i usually portray him as quite a traditionally masculine character so i wanted to make something different this time. This artwork may look a bit different because i decided to use yet another different brush on this and the process was quite messy, i never did the lineart stage. I kind of dont like how messy the anatomy for nerevar is, atleast it always looks wrong to me, but whatever

Not only is the deranged creature equipped with some fabulous claws, it's actually part of the larger headcanons I have for the mer races... All elves have claws to me!!! :)

It's a bit funny, because at first I was drawing them subconsciously, since I genuinely think flat human nails look gross (no offense) and I find claws easier to draw. And then I started indulging in my own headcanons about how elves are actually a bit more nonhuman than what you'd assume. I love how genuinely alien they look in TES, and I don't intend on hiding that fact!
