Small but important comment marisha made abt laudna. She said that she “almost took” spider climb when she was making Laudna, but didn’t. There aren’t any feats that give access to that, nor any ways for her to have second level spells yet because of multiclass games. The only way for her to have it would have been to play as a Dhampir. Why was Laudnas backstory workable with a Dhampir!?!?

Here's the important thing about Laudna's Whitestone connections. She isn't going into details, but she obviously doesn't think super highly of the De Rolos, or at least doesn't think of them with complete respect. She was a "young woman" who claims to have lived there under the coup, which would have been a few years before VM, and then doesn't appear to remember Percy and the defeat of the Briarwoods. However, she then mentions remembering Vox Machina being hunted by the Briarwoods. Now the population of Whitestone didn't KNOW percy was there originally, but they knew that VM were against the Briarwoods. So Laudna might have been IN whitestone during the beginning of the Rebellion, but didn't stick around to see the end of it. And seeing as she's a Hollow one, AND she has an undead patron, I'd be shcoked if this doesn't connect back to that in some way.

Wait fuck, was Laudna there during the rebellion?!? Like during the Briarwood arc!!! I don't think she's a de rolo, but her shit is definitely tied to that all
