i don’t hate taylor. i don’t think i could ever hate taylor. i have spent years and years by her side. i love taylor so so much and that’s why this is so confusing and upsetting. she said she would be vocal and use her platform, be on the right side of history, take the muzzle off.. and now this? i hope we hear something soon. an apology, an explanation, more use of her platform, something. this doesn’t make sense to me.

if taylor can show up to wango tango last year in a rainbow getup, write an open letter to the white house regarding the equality act for lgbtq+ rights, make an entire music video where she parades around with her lgbtq+ friends and dyes her hair the bi colors, and stand up on the vma stage and call out the president about the equality act....... ..... ..................... she can support her poc fans too

As a Swiftie that's a POC, while it would be nice if Taylor did use her voice more publicly about important issues. I also don't believe in bullying her to speak up. We shouldn't have to force someone to speak up. You can help educate then its up to the individual what they chose to do with that info. What she has done so far hasn't gone unoticed and its a step. I like to think she's done more even if its quietly and private. Just keep doing your part and spreading the positive messages any way you can. That's what matters in the long run vs what one celebrity does or not. Lets not make it all about her right now.

it’s honestly wild that “kanye west commissioned a lifelike nude wax figure of taylor swift and filmed himself sleeping next to it” hasn’t been a more major factor in the discussion of the ethics of this whole feud. like all celebrity theatrics aside if i ever found out that a man had paid thousands and thousands of dollars to create a malleable nude figure of me with lifelike handpainted nipples and then he filmed himself lying in bed next to it and put it on the internet for millions of people to look at i would press charges.
