Sibling!Alexis Ness x Reader
⊹ ࣪ ˖ while the rest of your family filled the house with science’s books, you and ness would hide away in his room, learning card tricks together;
⊹ ࣪ ˖ youd pretend not to notice him hiding the card up his sleeve, just so he could reveal his “magic” with the biggest and proudest smile on his face;
⊹ ࣪ ˖ every magic show came with a whole dramatic performance, and by law, you were required to act surprised after every single one

“really? you cried for like half an hour.”
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he loved simply existing in the same room as you. you didn’t even have to talk; just sharing the same silence was enough for him.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ whenever someone complimented you, he’d get strangely proud. it was almost like a part of the compliment belonged to him too.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ niko was terrible at asking for affection directly. Instead, he’d just sit beside you and slowly lean against your shoulder until you eventually realised he needed something.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he was so quiet when walking around the house that he could always manage to scare you, even though he never meant to.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ niko always had a really hard time interacting with other kids at kindergarten and at teenage school, so you were basically his social anchor.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ being smart from such a young age, niko always liked helping you with your homework whenever he could.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ whenever you praised him for being smart, he’d pretend it didn’t matter. lol but hed remember your exact words for YEARS.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ hes the type of sibling who begs you to order something for him because he’s too shy to say it himself. and YOU (yes, you🫵) are the type of sibling who always complains whenever something from his order comes wrong.

⊹ ࣪ ˖ when niko was called to Blue Lock, you were genuinely happy for him. you knew how much soccer meant to him and how hard he’d worked for it. But somewhere underneath all that excitement was the fear that, for the first time, he wouldn’t have you there as his social anchor

⊹ ࣪ ˖ taking care of Loki was practically a new sport. you could swear he’d NEVER learned the meaning of the word “walk”, cause he simply ran everywhere;
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he was surprisingly affectionate when he was tired. well, after spending the entire day running around, he’d eventually collapse beside you and lean against your shoulder without saying a word
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Loki was always the first to be picked for teams. sometimes it wasn’t even because he was the best player, but because nobody could keep up with his speed
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he always turned EVERYTHING into a competition; “who got into the car first?”, “who brushed their teeth faster?” (and for some stupid reasen, he always took everything ABSURDLY seriously)
⊹ ࣪ ˖ whenever you two went out together, it was only a matter of time before he disappeared because he spotted something interesting on the other side of the street. youd lost count of how many times you had to run after him so you wouldn’t lose him in the middle of street;
⊹ ࣪ ˖ when you two were younger, he used to ask you random questions at the most ridiculous hours cause his brain wouldn’t stop thinking. you’d be half asleep like:
“LOKI, its two in the morning…”
“then why tf are you asking me whether fish know they’re wet???”
“chill, i was just curious ”
⊹ ࣪ ˖ ever since he was a kid, loki would repeat prejudiced comments he heard from other people without really understanding the weight behind those words. after a few conversations with you, he started to understand how wrong it was and never acted that way again (at least not in front of you..)
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he could make friends with practically any kid within five minutes. sometimes you didn’t even understand how, but before you knew it, he was already planning to play soccer with people he just met;
⊹ ࣪ ˖ loki wasn’t particularly good at understanding complicated situations as a kid, but he always knew when someone was being mean to you
⊹ ࣪ ˖ lol im serious, you had to physically stop him from confronting someone because he was absolutely convinced that whatever problem existed could be solved by running toward it really fast or just winning in a race with it
⊹ ࣪ ˖ Loki was physically incapable of being still for more than five minutes. even when watching tv, he would somehow end up lying upside down on the couch, kicking his feet against the cushions (god this hyperactive brat)
⊹ ࣪ ˖ kk lets agree that he’d NEVER admit he was actually tired. he would just slowly gets more and more quiet, stop running around and eventually appears beside you like some poor exhausted stray kitty
⊹ ࣪ ˖ whenever you told him to be careful, he woukd hit you with the most confident “HAHA [name], I AM being careful!” right before immediately doing something incredibly stupid.
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he loveeed dragging you outside with him. if you said youre tired he’d negotiate like his own life depended on it

“Loki… you said that fifteen SECONDS ago”
“God forbid a brother just wants to spend time with his sibling.”
⊹ ࣪ ˖ he also terrible at keeping surprises secret. hed get SO excited that he’d accidentally reveal them like five minutes after deciding to surprise you.
“heyoo, got you something. its a surprise”
“okay, but if its a surprise yk you aren’t supposed to tell me, right..?”
