Tilly needed to come for a hug. As our youngest 2 are adopted and diagnosed with Attachment Disorder, the current situation has had a more significant impact on them than others. The process of forming bonds and attachments is irrevocably different for them and we can only imagine the turmoil they must feel. The outward signs of attachment they show are heart warming and show how far we have come but I fear the hidden effects of these weeks and months. To have bonds broken by time, hugs dearly missed, friends and family become memories and an almost abstract concept for ones who have already endured so much loss and change at such a young age is really heartbreaking for a dad. All we can do is hug them close and tell them how much they are loved by all, those who are here and those who are not. https://www.instagram.com/p/CBx6CWYJMU8/?igshid=189spg3dlkmce
