On his birthday, we traveled by train to the next town to see Britain's largest magic show.

Victor "I've actually always wanted to see this show!"

Seeing Victor gaze at the stage with sparkling eyes filled me with relief and joy.

Victor "But tickets were only available by lottery, right? The odds must have been incredibly high…"

Magician in a Tailcoat "This trick involves the audience! Now, who shall we choose…?"

The magician examines the audience while moving his cane. The tip of the cane stops in front of us.

Magician in a Tailcoat "You lovely couple over there, to the stage!"

Neema "Huh?"

Victor "Wow, we're so lucky, Neema!"

He pulls me up to the stage with delight. The magician hands me a sword and locks Victor inside the box.

Victor, who had been trapped in the box just moments before, was now standing on top of it, holding me.

He turned his gaze to me, smiled slightly, kissed the corner of my eye, and winked at the stunned magician.

Victor "It's top secret."

Neema "I was really surprised. Everyone was surprised too…"

Victor "I thought I'd make a cool escape since it's a special occasion, but I ended up getting more attention than expected."

Victor "But it was really fun. Thank you for the wonderful time, Neema."

After the show, we walk through the city hand in hand.Victor's steps are light, and it's clear he had a great time, but the birthday celebration is not over yet.

Victor "So, where are we headed next?"

We stop in front of a bookstore on a busy street.

Neema "Next, is here."

When we enter, many books and rare stationery greeted us.

Victor "Quite an impressive bookstore… oh?"

His steps stop as he notices a space at the end of the store with a table and chairs. The colorful envelopes and beautiful stationery displayed there were the main reason I decided to come to this store.

Neema "At this bookstore, you can write a letter on the spot using the envelopes and stationery made in-store."

Neema "There are many cute designs, and it seems that everyone who visits sends a letter to their future self or a loved one."

Victor "I see, they really do have some wonderful designs."

I pick up the quill pen that was on the table and hand it to him.

Neema "Victor, why don't we write letters too?"

Ellis left, and the office was once again just the two of us.

After finishing tidying up, he lifted me up and activated the mechanism connecting to his private room. He lowered me onto the bed bathed in twilight. Leaning over me, he rained kisses down repeatedly.

The kiss deepened steadily. Through my barely parted eyelids, our eyes met, filled with heat. 

Neema “...But we have to get up early tomorrow.”

I murmured softly. Victor smiled gently and kissed my forehead.
