It's been a while! A year has gone by and between all the craziness in the world and all the things happening at work and home (all good things I must say ☺️), this Little monkey had little to no time to work on doodles. So today our son wasn't allowed in school for having a "runny nose"... He's been home all day and surprise! No runny nose or any other "Covid related symptoms". Such a wonderful way for daycares to cash money without having to work at all. Because of course, they won't take the kids in, but won't refund or credit the money payed to them (subsidy or not), and if you refuse to pay "your kid looses his/her spot." All health policies have been reviewed and modified under new "Covid safety" guidelines, but nothing has been done for the huge economic impact this generates in every household. Now one of our household members have to stay home and loose not one, but at least 3 days of wages! (because once the child is randomly diagnosed by an non-medical expert, such as a daycare teacher, the child cannot go back to daycare for at least 2 more days. Who answers for those 3 days of wages lost that will affect our household economy? Our son is obviously healthy so no cerb or any other measure will help us. Which economy is going to flourish and recover if we are not even able to produce money to make it work? The system is defective and broken and it requires immediate attention from our leaders.
