I already have a pirate cutlass

Bought the pirate package for the cutlass years ago, in 2013 in fact, and yet I've yet to see my pirate skin. Not only was the pirate skin never added, but my pirate cutlass package is now demoted to some basic military cutlass, and I'm being asked to buy a new Bucaneer package? I already bought the pirate package, yet don't see the black skull and crossbones flag skin in-game. I don't need to re-buy what is now deemed the new 'pirate ship', I was already sold on buying the 'pirate ship' back in 2013. Add the skull and crossbones skin to the game, the one mentioned in the pirate pack please, it was 3 years ago so maybe people forgot about it, I didn't forget. Please add the black skull and crossbones skin to the game.

Here's an official piece of Star Citizen art, it clearly shows different sized and shaped people, some bigger than average. I was happy to see this 'concept' art, it's too bad they'd scrap even slight options of height and weight as it would bring greater diversity. The more diversity players have, the cooler the game will look. I've played countless games, and always on my top 5 list of gripes is everyone looking exactly the same. So far not impressed by everyone looking identical in the latest module. I can say, year after year, game after game, it always comes up and is always important to me, for the character options to be as diverse as possible.  I want to know if we can become fat. It might have consequences like reduced stamina, a larger easier to hit target. And increased costs of space suits to accommodate your size. But I feel this is realistic. I want to meet large people in the verse. Perhaps a mining Forman lets his belly grow out a bit. ---  Mr_Moopsy

I'm glad to see how much Mark Hamill will be in Star Citizen

The new Star Wars movie (which I'm really looking forward to), Starwars VII: The Merchandise Sales Awaken only has a few scenes with Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, so I'm glad to see Mark will be a main character of the game. He's a talented actor that will really bring a great deal of quality to the franchise. Many a year ago, when the kickstarter just ended there were many a thread on which actors would you like to see and Mark Hamill was always on my list, so props to CIG for the wise decision.

Shroud of the Avatar is doing alright with 7.4 million. Their engine is unity 5, much easier to work with, but easy to work with is not a bad thing. I think the mega-polygon-count has started to catch up to the complexity of multiple ships per map. Anyway, all in all I think 90 million is more than enough to complete the project 100% from A to Z. If a penny more than 90 million is required to finish even the base kickstarter promise then, the whispered, "we're in trouble" has legitimate ground. I hope CIG isn't in trouble, I hope they didn't open too many studios and hire too many people, because a small team and a finished product is better than a giant team and an unfinished one. As for me, I have zero desire to pledge a single penny until 1 year *after* the game is released and I have any incentive at all that it's worth pledging because I'm enjoying the finished product so much.

$90 million should be enough to get to a stage where we have a playable beta of the game. You have my money, now shut up and make me a game :)

I hope I'm not shattering any dreams when I say that we are 2-3 years away from anything resembling a product that we can beta test? SQ42 might be sooner sure, but the big SC universe is years away. So my suggestion for whatever it's worth now that being this open development is starting to hurt CIG: Lock yourself in a cave for 2-3 years. No conventions, no more CitizenCon, no "cramming for this demo", no "estimated delivery dates", no more concept sales, no lawsuits to take money, time and energy out of the making of this game (best command WOW ever had was "/ignore"). Just go and make a game and come out when it's time for us to test it. I know, it sounds like what a normal game development would be like but we've tried to open development with modular releases and how's that going for us? Ok maybe keep AtV but for me the only segment I watched and was interested in was ship shape but without Lisa what is there left? Ben's can only do so many puns :( Monthly studio reports - while these are cool it doesn't give anyone not involved in the project any idea of how close we are to being done with something or having anything playable. Like "Constellation rework".. which could be dated 2013, 2014 or 2015 since it's always being reworked. $90 million should be enough to get to a stage where we have a playable beta of the game. You have my money, now shut up and make me a game :)

The text box is microscopic. So microscopic it’s clear they’re catering to those who use headsets, mics. I use a keyboard. I type 90 WPM. I can type as fast as you can speak. I enjoy typing. It’s fun to me. Speaking is aiiiight but it’s not as legit as typing. Not as legit.

The guy clearly doesn't have 1 mil big ones, his only backing evidence is a plastic rear admiral card. I've got a metal high admiral card and I don't have two cents to rub together. As for him hiring peeps to research this game, I doubt that ever happened. Let's audit him, his claims are made up and/or trumped up. End of audit.

Chris Roberts has had one too many LTI ship sales for my taste but the game is being made. He's simply euphoric from being time-table-free to an extent, from being major-publisher-free, and having the freedom to take his sweet time.
