LOUD AND PROUD

When it comes to showing off her Canuck colours, the only way Sharla Taki knows how to do it is to go all out.

A fan of over two decades - one of her earliest memories is making signs and waving at passing cars that were honking in celebration during that exciting Stanley Cup run of 1994 - Sharla makes the Canucks a big part of her daily life whether it's at home or at work.

A member of the admin team at the head office of Audio Video Unlimited, Sharla and many of her coworkers will wear their jerseys on game days but Sharla has taken the steps to make sure everyone knows the office buys into the We Are All Canucks theme by decorating the space with posters, flags and towels.

Outside the office, there's plenty of Canucks colours at home as well with her Christmases being Canucks-themed, her Halloweens being Canucks-themed, not to mention her ride as well which was fully decked out during the Cup run of 2011.

JUSTINE'S CORNER

Since 1996, CanucksCorner.com has been an online destination for Canucks fans to interact and read about their team from the perspective of their fellow fans. If you've been a regular follower of CanucksCorner.com for the better part of the last decade, then you'll most certainly recognize the name Justine Galo.

Since 2008, Justine has been an active contributing writer on CanucksCorner.com. Currently, she's one of two featured writers on the site - the other being Bruce Ng - which was created by life-long Canuck fan Brian Wawryshyn.

Working with CanucksCorner.com allows Justine, a PR and digital media specialist, to blend her writing talent with her passion for her team. A fan since the age of six - she credits Thomas Gradin for hooking her - she feels her day isn't quite complete without writing something about the Canucks.

Like all great writers, Justine has her favourite stories. One of them was written on the eve of Game 7 against the Blackhawks back in 2011 titled "A Little Faith, Please." It's a piece that definitely stands the test of time and serves as a reminder to all of us why We Are All Canucks and why we love our team through thick and thin.

THE GLOBETROTTING CANUCK

There are two things that Patrice Vandenbos lives for: traveling and her Canucks.

Her blog, The Globetrotting Canadian, highlights her recent adventures to destinations such as Kenya, Ecuador and all over Europe. Her home base, though, remains Canada and when she's not traversing the globe, she's dialed in to the Canucks.

A digital marketing specialist from Toronto, Patrice's first NHL game was witnessing a Maple Leafs loss when she was around seven years old. Even at that young age, she was wise enough to realize that she needed a better team to follow. Since then, she's been a fully-fledged member of Canucks Nation.

It would take many years before Patrice would finally get out to her second NHL game but it was well worth the wait. Patrice traveled 4,000 km from Toronto to Vancouver the night before Game 5 of the 2015 first-round series against the Flames and took in the 2-1 Canucks win the next night with her friend, Morgan.

The experience was an eye-opener for her as she calls seeing Towel Power live as one of the most incredible things she has ever witnessed and been a part of. In her words, "to stand in an arena with thousands of other fans who had the same heart for the team that I did was something I will never forget."

Patrice won't consider her visit to watch the Canucks as being a vacation but more of a scouting trip. After all, she's hoping she'll soon be making Vancouver a permanent home. Until then, she'll continue representing Towel Power wherever her travels take her which means following @VanCanucks, regularly checking the Canucks App, and proudly sporting the blue and green on game days - especially when walking down the streets in Toronto!

THE MONTAGE MAN

Nothing brings out the goose bumps more than a good pump-up video and if you've had the chance to catch the pre-game intro at Rogers Arena, you'll know exactly what I mean. For Samir Javer, finding a way to give his fellow fans that feeling of chills and excitement is his way of demonstrating his passion for his team.

What began as a Grade 9 Computer Science project has blossomed into a YouTube phenomenon that has earned over two million hits. Samir, a Canucks fan since 2003, made his first video in time for the 2009 playoffs for that class assignment. Since then, he's been making regular videos to hype the start of the regular season and playoffs as well as tribute videos on occasions for the likes of Rick Rypien, Roberto Luongo and Markus Naslund, the latter who was Samir's favourite player growing up. His work has garnered attention from websites such as Sports Illustrated, Yahoo! Sports, The Vancouver Sun, the Province, and Canucks.com, not to mention being featured on Sportsnet and Global.

Creating a video from conceptualization to final signoff is a process that can take months. Once a song is selected - not an easy task in and of itself - Samir spends time listening to it on repeat for hours while visualizing the video in his head and timing the events to match the music. After the music comes sourcing the highlight clips which can take hours as well. All in all, he estimates each video takes roughly 60 to 70 hours to put together.

Despite all the time and effort it takes, Samir is happy to put in the work and calls seeing his final product on the screen as "the most satisfying and fulfilling feeling ever." He hopes one day he'll get to be the guy who puts together the big screen videos at Rogers Arena for the Canucks. Until then, fans can find his work on YouTube and follow him on Twitter.

ART OF A CANUCK

If you're a fan of CanucksArmy, you'll no doubt have come across some of eye-catching infographics on the site. The man behind those designs is superfan Matthew Henderson.

It's not a stretch to say Matthew was born a Canucks fan. By his own words, his family "lives and breathes Canucks hockey." It's no surprise, then, that Matthew would combine his natural talents as a designer with his passion for the team he was born to cheer for. He began designing for CanucksArmy in Grade 10 and now does nightly infographics for the site along with other design work.

One of his most popular design themes has been the use of the NHL94 graphic engine. Perhaps its fitting that Matthew chose that particular vintage video game year to build much of his work around even though he wasn't even born when the Canucks made their infamous run to Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final at Madison Square Garden. His favourite fan moment came in Game 7 of the 2011 series against the Blackhawks when Alex Burrows scored the overtime winner on Corey Crawford. His Tumblr blog - theyslayedthedragon.tumblr.com - appropriately reflects that great moment in Canucks playoff lore.

BEHIND THE MUSIC

When it comes to Canucks fandom fame, Clay Imoo and his music videos rank right up there with The Clapper and The Green Men. For Clay and his crew - namely the lovely singing duo of Marie Hui and Arielle Tuliao - the videos are an opportunity for them to blend their talent and their passion and show off their team spirit.

The first Clay video - Canucks Medley - popped up in November 2011 featuring the vocals of Marie Hui. Arielle's first video - Don't Stop Believing - came just in time for the 2012 playoffs. The three would form a trio for the first time in January 2013 with Season of Cup.

While the videos themselves are just several minutes long each, the process of putting each together is an arduous one and certainly a labour of love. Clay writes the lyrics then, after feedback from the crew, there's practice time, set-up time, and then the filming itself. The last part can take up to an hour which includes 4-5 run throughs. For the record, the final product you see on YouTube is all shot in one take!

Clay's dream is to play the organ at a Canucks game or to perform a song live at Rogers Arena. If that happens, you can be sure Marie and Arielle will be right beside him!

CANUCKS NATION DOWN UNDER

An IT-graduate working in Syndey, Australia, Chris credits Kara, an exchange student and avid Canucks fan, for introducing him to hockey and the Canucks. Now he's a fully-fledged member of Canucks Nation.

Becoming a member of Canucks Nation meant two major changes for Chris - he watches every game (live if he can as the games are on usually around 11 am to 2 pm or on replay), and he now emulates his favourite players on the ice. He began playing rec hockey, learning to skate in the process, and now proudly sports his Canucks jersey each time he hits the ice.

While Chris makes sures he follows the Canucks on every social media avenue possible - Facebook, Twitter, Reddit, Snapchat, Instagram to name a few - nothing beats being able to catch his team in person which he managed to do not long ago after making the 14-hour journey all the way from Down Under to the Pacific North West! He vows to be back in Vancouver, the city he calls his favourite in the world, and to attend every single Canucks game he can when he's here.

Until then, he'll stick to tweeting out his support from across the Pacific.

TURTLE POWER TO TOWEL POWER

There are two things that Tony Power is extremely passionate about: his work and his Canucks. Originally from Cape Breton, Nova Scotia (he promises he has never cheered for the Leafs, Habs or Bruins), Tony's fandom reached new heights during the 2011 Stanley Cup run when his work project just happened to have him situated next to Rogers Arena where he could soak in all the atmosphere.

Tony's official job at Bardel Entertainment, a digital animation studio, is show runner for the Nickelodeon TV series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Unofficially, he's responsible for bringing Canucks spirit into the workplace. Tony's TMNT crew often hold "Vancouver Canuck Bardel Rallies" showing off their love of the team and, when their schedule permits, they'll get together and watch the games together - that is when Tony and his wife, Charlayne, aren't at Rogers Arena cheering on the boys in person!

Work isn't the only place Tony shows off his Canucks colours. He also does it with the Vancouver Facial Hair Club!

FAN KAM ON MEGAN

A fourth-year nursing student in Kamloops, Megan naturally grew up a Canucks fan because of her longtime fan father but is now ready to lay claim as the biggest Canucks fan in the family!

A sports aficionado, Megan's Canucks' fandom trumps all others and one of her favourite memories is going to her very first Canucks game back in 2011 - the very first game of the playoffs that year - and getting her very own Canucks Playoff Towel. Her playoff rituals now include wearing a matching Canucks jersey on game day - blue for home games, white for road games - and sharing the experience with her dad and brother.

FROM FRANCE WITH LOVE

An aspiring photographer born and raised in France, 23-year-old Melanie credits the Canucks for being a shining light in her battle against depression. Three years ago during a sleepless night, she stumbled upon a game between the Canucks and Blue Jackets. Two minutes into watching, Alex Edler scored on a coast-to-coast rush and she instantly felt a wave of positive energy. From that point, a Canucks fan was born!

Even though the games are on at 4 am in the morning, she does her best to follow either on the Canucks app or through NHL GameCentre. She even has her own game-day superstitions which includes keeping her Canucks puck all day with her or wearing her jersey especially in big games. She'll also kiss her fingers and tap her favourite players on her laptop screen when she wants them to score a goal, or kiss her eagle tattoo which is an homage to her favourite player, Alex Edler.

THE BIGGEST LITTLE CANUCKS FAN IN JAPAN

4-year-old Noah Sora moved last year with his parents from Canada to Japan but his passion for the Canucks has only grown! He'll be watching closely as the Canucks take on the Flames in the opening round of the playoffs, and had a special message to share with his favourite team in this video from Osaka. Without a doubt, Noah is clearly the biggest little Canucks fan in the Land of the Rising Sun.
