ngl i was kinda hoping the daniel/armand scenes would be less explanatory and just more. subtle. though i do think there is something more than meets the eye.

reveal that armand not only kept tabs on daniel for 52 years (and reported back to louis) but gave him boys to fuck and stopped him from killing himself

reveal (little by little) that it wasn't merely one-sided stalking but daniel was an active participiant and they had a real relationship for a time

reveal how daniel lost his memories of this relationship
