for those alive

who do not strive

and those dead

who rest their head:

may we all come to rot together,

i’m on the second floor in a room of a building i get to call my own

it’s unfamiliar. i hear banging

and the smell is chemically and not yet my own

while on the left of me; the door keeps sounding like someone is gonna open it.

i’ll throw my bag and pounce on them if so.

this is what i’ve wanted forever and i don’t feel any sort of regret.

and you can’t make me feel anything

i took my first shower in the bathroom

felt weird and alienating.

i now realize that i have all this time and my mind is empty.
