“Huh?” The doctor glanced up at the Saber. At first he didn’t even get what was Richard meaning by that, he was already deep in searching a new MagiMari video, but then… His sudden embarrassment and nervousness on his face showed pretty well the moment when he realized.

“Ah! No! No, I didn’t mean to insult you! I-I’m sorry…” He apologized. “I would gladly accept your repayment, Richard. B-But… Actually, I’m not quite sure what should I ask in return. I mean, my work is mostly technology related. Except maybe the paperwork… Can you handle things like that?”

Theoretically, the Grail should have provided servants with modern knowledge, but it was still better to ask about it.

Letting a hearty laugh, along with another hand clapping the doctor’s shoulder, it seemed ‘words’ (morelikethreats) had passed through to the Doctor’s consideration in allowing ‘he’ to aid.

The archer was snoozing in the hallway again.

Did he experience joy in such circumstances as this? To be surrounded by unfamiliar faces, finding new and previously unlooked-for legends at nearly every turn? Yes – that one word was the simplest answer he could really give. There was nothing quite like it, even in the era of his human birth, which could have quite compared. As a man Krishna had known heroes, tyrants, mundane folk and those who were truly holy. But never in those days had they all been placed quite so intimately as this: within an arm’s reach and a friendly call whenever he pleased; from all across the mortal world and some hailing from well beyond it.

Were the circumstances not quite so dire, he might have described it all as delightful.

“Seeing all you of here does bring me joy.” Krishna affirms, perching his chin on folded hands as he regards Saber fondly. “Across all my incarnations it has been a pleasure to watch others grow. To have witnessed the good and the bad side by side, taken a role in balancing it for myself. My only regret is that none of you may remember it, when you return to that place referred to as the ‘Throne of Heroes’. But I will cherish these days and remember you with love, because a world without such people is too sad for contemplation right now.”

Even a simply answer were an efficient one, enough to slat curiosity. At the very least the one whom among they with the divinity of a god were taking in the essence of all those whom strove themselves a name within the books of history      among those with the legends etched into the soul of the human belief system. 

Those whom lived long before ‘he’ had always been a state of curiosity for those elders are whom held wisdom that not even books written could possibly prescribe to give knowledge over written text. Though- that isn’t to imply the newer generation passed from they were without their own set of knowledge to give.

A soft sigh slipped, though words were forthcoming in acceptance of faith, such did not always mean that the heart were true to be free of all worries of the day they would return, but those words were true to believe that in being remembered the piece of history left here, beyond the pages of lore and tales were not passed down to the new generation with a kindling knowledge of they.

That unexpected, heavy clap on his shoulder broke the doctor’s carefree laughter, turning it into severe cough as his breath suddenly got uneven. He tried to act like as if it was nothing, but it took a few moments to breathe right again. They might have been friends, but Romani still would have felt too embarrassed if the other had found out how weak his physique was.

Still he rubbed his shoulder a little. That movement was like a reflex and he couldn’t do too much about it.

“You’re right…” He coughed a bit. “I mean, I believe her secrets makes her even more interesting and lovable! Of course, I’d love to know more about her, but I have that feeling, too much information would… kind of kill the magic around her.” Roman admitted, then turned back to his tablet to find another video of his great idol. 

“Oh, and don’t even mention any ‘repayment’! The fact that I found someone who’s willing to watch Magi Mari with me and actually enjoys it as well is more than enough for me.”

Though ‘he’ still remained curious of the Fair Maiden, it were not spoken out loud. Perhaps ‘he’ may do some crusading on own to learn a little more of the lady, but only speak of the unraveling if the Doctor cared for it, or maybe it were simply best to keep what were found to self. Well- time would only be able to tell in due time, for now there were no need to probe into the ladies affair, simply enjoying her performance with another would suffice of the current moment. 

A soft chuckle slipped upon the denial of payment, gaze turning once more upon the Doctor.

You win some, you lose some, but that doesn’t mean Lancelot has to approve of his losses. (He has one function here, sir.) “At least there’s still some reward to make this worthwhile.” Coming back empty-handed would be… he’d end up on thin ice for that, wouldn’t he? (No, not at all, but he can fret regardless.)

Berserker regards Richard’s hand for a moment as if he’s uncertain how to proceed, before he concedes and clasps Richard’s hand with his own. It’s a brief moment, and strangely staticky, but it’s something approximating camaraderie. “That means you’ll be leading the next charge? Not bad.”

Contain that inner fanboy - oh young blooded King, cause you’ve just been given the chance of having your hand shaken by Lancelot.   Shakes the hand grasping own with a mild force of strength and then freeing own and the knights..

Think Positive Sir Lancelot, they would be alright.

One may have lead the crusades but there were a difference of commanding an army of those loyal to your command and leading those whom were quite with their own personalities, and honored knights themselves.

Glances off momentarily, fingers stroking under chin with a mild thought. There were much to speak about her, but the wording were more about the actual her and not of whom were presiding within she.               Well, there were words to be spoken about her besides that topic. 

   “Ha! Your dare continue to think you are a match for me? We will see!” He jeers as he grabs the others hand in response quite roughly.

Tightens grip, prepping thumb up and ready to go forth in this challenge at the call. 

     “Ha! You always put me in a good mood with your insane request, do not cry if I crush it.” Guess he accepted the challenge- See he can be nice… IF you know what he enjoys.

My, this were a sudden question asked by the King of Knights to ‘he’, though one were curious of the reasoning for asking, there were also that ‘he’ minded the King’s question with privacy. Maybe it were simply for an experiment for something? Or could the King be attempting to find some sort of weakness with ‘he’ in the form of chocolate?                                            Curious- curious. 

Still, ‘he’ answered the question, without asking for answers in return.                   Least for now, but perhaps ‘he’ might just attempt in catching a little peek later of what the King of Knights were up to.
