Was thinking abt Elf!ALLāætius and how I never got around to digitizing the trad art, and idk where I put those drawings now..which is kinda sad, bc I gave them accessories and details to make them look āØE T H E R E A LāØ
And since I've been wanting to try this blackāandāwhite style thingy for a while now, I decided to use Ren and gave him elf ears to somewhat make up for it
Under the cut are the bases n stuff + that one WIP
This def didn't turn out the way I wanted, but I just rllyyyy want to take it off my plate. Maybe I'll come back to it every once in a while and slowly render it the way I envisioned. Esp the eyesāI wanted to add a lot of detail, and I mean A LOT. I imagined the top part having Ai Hoshinoālevel detail, or that ethereal Gojo vibe, iykyk
Summary: In which someone makes a bet that they wouldn't catch you if you ran towards them at full speed while their hands are full. So, you decided to test it out.
Characters: Illuga, Lohen, Xiao, Kinich
Illuga
Absolutely, 100%
Would drop everything in his hands just to catch you even if he was holding something precious or fragile. The only time he wouldn't catch you would be if he was holding something sharp or dangerous, anything that could potentially harm you if he accidentally dropped you.
ā!? W-Wait! I'm still holding onto Sir Flinsā supplies!! If you fallāā
Despite his increasingly panicked attempts at persuasion, his body moved quicker than his mind. In less than a second, his hands had already dropped everything onto the floor and his feet were planted firmly into the ground, arms spread widely to catch you just in the nick of time
Uses his entire body to cushion the impact and slow you down, making sure that even if the two of you were to fall, he would be the one hitting the ground first. Luckily, his feet were planted firmly enough into the ground that none of you ended up tumbling onto the ground, with yourself landing safely into his arms.
After double (maybe triple) checking that you weren't hurt, he proceeds to chew your ear off for the next hour or so, reprimanding you for your reckless and irresponsible actions. That was far too dangerous! What if he slipped before he could catch you!?
āDon't ever do something so reckless again. If you do, don't expect me to catch you again (ļ½ćĀ“)ā
He absolutely would. But he would also prefer if you were to greet him normally next time instead of giving him a heart attack
⦠At least the feeling of carrying you in his arms more than makes up for it
(More below the cut)
Lohen
āOh?ā
He watched as you hurled yourself towards his direction, intrigue and a hint of puzzlement sketched onto his face
Depending on the time of day, there's a 50% chance Lohen would open his arms and catch you so that the two of you would fall together, as well as another 50% chance that he'll wait right up until the moment you're almost in front of him, step aside and then catch you just as you were about to fall face first into the ground. What can he say? An eye for an eye, a surprise for a surprise.
Honestly, he finds your trust in him rather endearing. Even though you know that he has a million tricks up his sleeves, you still chose to run towards him at full speed with your arms wide open, not caring if he was in the mood to catch you or not. It made his heart sing with pride, knowing that you had such blind trust in him.
Fortunately for you, he decided to play nice today and catch you immediately. The moment he tosses everything away and your body hits his, one of his hands curls around the back of your head while his other arm slyly snakes around your waist, keeping you pressed as closely to him as possible even when his back hits the gravel below.
āToo bad. Such tricks just arenāt enough to catch me off guard, darling.ā
He doesn't try to fight back the wolfish grin surfacing on his face, nor say a word back when you start complaining. Only when you start trying to lift yourself off of him does he make his move. In the blink of an eye, he rolls over and pins you down into the same patch of gravel he was once lying on top, trailing his hand slowly from the back of your head down the back of your neck, all the way to your collarbones.
āNext time, don't announce yourself before you start runningā not like that would stop me from sensing your presence beforehand anyways~ā
Xiao
āAbsolutely, 100%ā the sequel
Wouldn't even think before dropping everything to catch up to you. He would even take a few steps forward to lessen the amount of time it would take for you to reach him before patiently waiting for your arrival with his arms wide open, counting down the seconds until you found your way home
Just like the first time he caught you back at the Jade Chamber, his arms are firmly wrapped around yours. Only this time, instead of them being over your shoulders, they are pressed closely yet warmly against your back, gently pushing you to fall deeper into his arms until your head hits his chest
āDid you need me?ā
He asks in a calm, steady voice, thinking that any matter that required you to run to his side with such urgency without calling his name was one of utmost importance. If you had called, he would've undoubtedly reached your side in a moment's notice, perhaps even before his name had fully even left your lips. Too quickly? Nonsense. In his eyes, that was the least he should do.
When you told him that you simply wanted to see if he would drop everything just to catch you, he would blink in surprise before letting out a scoff so soft that it couldn't be called anything but fondness.
āIf you think our bond was that weak, you needn't test me. I wouldnāt have appeared before you if you didn't mean anything to me.ā
After a flicker of hesitation passed his face, he lowered his face and awkwardly nuzzled his forehead against yours, suppressing the urge to look away in order to whisper against your lips.
ā... Since you're here now, can you stay a little longer? Thereās a plate of almond tofu here that I would like you to try⦠Who made it?... I⦠cannot say.ā
Kinich
āAjawā
ā???ā
āCatchā
āļ¼ļ¼ļ¼ļ¼ KINICH YOU @%Ā£@%@Ā£@%Ā£@@%@%Ā£@££@%@%%@Ā£@ā
Tosses everything to Ajaw and forces him to catch it all before opening his arms as wide as possible, readily bracing for your impact
Honestly, if he had more time to prepare, he wouldāve preferred putting everything aside to make better preparations on how to catch you. However, since the things he was holding onto were needn't to complete a commission, he had no choice but to rely his closest companion (which unfortunately had to be Ajaw) and improvise on the spot
Luckily, all that time he spent carrying you around his house before had taught him all he needed to know. Before you had even reached him, he took a few steps forward and waited for you to skid to a stop. Once you did, he ceremoniously placed one arm behind your knee, one arm behind your back and BAMā a princess carry.
ā... Should I ask?ā
He raises a questioning brow, waiting for you to speak. Once you finish your explanation, he simply sighs before pressing a tender kiss to the top of your head, looking down at you with a mix of exasperation and affection.
āThe price for scaring me doesn't come cheap. I hope you're ready to pay for that stunt you just pulled tonight.ā

Cw: established relationships, kissing, getting caught (sort of), fluff
Camille x gn!reader: a secret relationship between you and him (requested)
his bats show his emotions in a way, and I think that's the cutest thing ever š„¹
Camille himself is the worst person to try to hide something from, yet incredible at hiding your relationship. With how often people are ticked off by his prying job, he just wanted to be extra careful when it came to you. He treats romance like an investigation that he has deliberately decided nobody else is allowed to solve.
when he realizes people are beginning to suspect you, he gets good at controlling the evidence.
Not because he's ashamed of you.
But because he hates being predictable and putting you at risk.
-
You had been waiting behind this concrete building for God knows how long, you were started to get worried that he had gotten side tracked (he would never).
Your thoughts swirl as you circle your index finger with your thumb. Smiling occasionally when the familiar bat companion would make a sound of approval.
You knew a familar presence was approaching when the tiny creature flew off in direction behind you, and an arm reach around your body and rest itself on top your hand.
"Apologies for the wait."
A familiar formal voice breathes against your head. You stop your fidgeting to looking over, not stopping the smile that makes its way up your face when you see the bright red pupils staring right back at you.
"I've told you im fine waiting, no need to apologize."
"Your posture was telling me otherwise. I felt guilty."
You watch as his pupils expand slightly the longer you continue to stare, and a chirp heard from his shoulder. You scoff at his observation before blinking down at his hand still over yours.
"Well, if apologies make you feel better."
The moment you turn away he kisses the corner of your lips and lowers your hand to your side. His hand moving to your opposing shoulder to gently nudge you to face him.
He doesn't respond, only looking around briefly before his eyes land on you once more. You take the opportunity to speak.
"Why did you want to meet during the day?"
You glance at the vesper on his shoulder, smiling when you catch it tilt it's head.
"Less evil during the day dear, don't you know?"
It's still shocking to hear him call you such sweet names. It fills your heart knowing how far you've come with him.
You huff at his attempt at a joke, but understand his point.
"Didn't think of that."
You feel him remove his hand from your shoulder suddenly as its replaced by another one of his blood bats.
Then a voice rang out in the distance.
"Hey, there you are!"
An unfamiliar face shows up around the corner.
"We got some good Intel for you."
You watch as your boyfriend reluctantly says goodbye and is ushered away from you and back to the main city. Where when you watch him leave he has a slightly apologetic look on his face as he stares back at you.
when the voice fades and you feel a tickling sensation on you, you look down only to feel the bats tiny face rub against your neck, and then poof out of existence.
You wait eagerly for your next meeting time. And so does he.
Requests are open. I might make a whole other post just about those damn bats

I wanted to write this with a few alterations to the Arknights: Endfield storyline, so that people who haven't played the game can see just how much potential this character has. Plus, hopefully it convinces you to give the game a shot!
ā Ėļ½”āąØā”ą§ā Ėļ½”ā
Ardashir x Endmin!Reader
The scent of the flowers was cloying, a suffocating perfume that seemed to mock the lethargy dragging at your limbs. You were slumped against the earth, the soft petals pressing against your clothes, but you couldn't find the strength to stand.
A shadow fell over you, blotting out the harsh sun. Ardashir stepped into your line of sight. He knelt beside you in the field, his expression a strange, unsettling mixture of pity and predatory fondness.
He reached out, his hand hovering for a heartbeat before his thumb grazed your jawline.
You tried to pull away, straining to tilt your head back, to retreat from his touch, but your limbs remained unresponsive.
You reached for the power within you, pouring every scrap of your remaining vitality into the effort, begging for a surge, a spark to manifest and push him back.
"Don't overwork yourself." He didn't sound like an enemy, his tone dripping with a concern that made your skin crawl. "Your body is already reaching its limit. Why fight a battle that has already been decided?"
He didn't pull his hand away. Instead, he slid his palm against yours, his fingers interlocking firmly with your own.
"Abandon this path," he continued, "The road you are on only leads to oblivion. You have given so much, and for what? Look at what they have left you with."
The gaps in your memory were indeed a constant, aching wound. You knew how much you had lost, how fragile your sense of self had become, but that only made his words more dangerous. You knew enough to know that his "truth" was a weapon, and his "kindness" was merely a cage.
You pulled your hand, though your fingers remained locked with his, unable to break the contact.
"No." you spat out, the word feeling like a blade. Your voice was thin, but it held the weight of iron. "I may be weak right now, but I know who I am, and I know exactly what you are."
You stared him down, refusing to look away even as exhaustion threatened to swallow you whole. "We will definitely stop your plan."
For a fleeting second, his eyes sparked with a dark, quiet amusement. It was a look that didnāt just dismiss your word, it looked down on them, treating your fierce defiance as the adorable, futile struggle of a cornered bird.
He let go of your hand, the sudden loss of his warmth leaving a cold ache in your fingers. He stood up, looking down at you with a soft, condescending smile as he began to dismantle your hope, piece by piece.
"Your team," Ardashir murmured, "The little band of idealists you cling so tightly to? They are nothing but fragile obstacles in a grander design. They cannot save you. They cannot even save themselves."
As he spoke, a brief, bitter flash of something raw and ugly crossed his features - a subtle, sharp twist of jealousy. He hated that they held the spaces in your mind that he wanted to claim. He hated that, even in your hollowed-out state, your loyalty belonged to them and not to him.
But the bitterness vanished as quickly as it had appeared, replaced once more by that stifling, gentle mask. He slowly lifted your hand, leaned down and pressed a kiss to the back of your hand.
"Until we meet again.."
And then, he was gone.
The lethargy evaporated. Your limbs grew light, your strength rushing back into your veins in a sudden, overwhelming torrent. You could move.
Instantly, you scrambled backward, lifting your hand and fiercely wiping the back of it against your sleeve.
"Endministrator!"
The panicked voice shattered the silence of the field. Perlica burst through the flowers, the rest of the team close behind her. They rushed to your side, hands hovering over you, checking for wounds. But as they took in your frantic state and the way you were aggressively scrubbing the back of your hand against your clothes, their worried expressions morphed into utter confusion.
"Are you hurt?"
You lowered your arm. "It's nothing." you said, your voice firming up as you stood up on your own two feet, brushing the dirt and petals from your clothes. "We have a mission to do. Let's move."
They still looked highly skeptical, reluctantly, they nodded, falling into formation and focusing back on the task at hand.
As you walked among them, your mind was miles away. You knew, with absolute certainty, that your paths would cross again. He wouldn't stay away, and neither would you. But next time, things would be different.
Until that day came, you would do whatever it took to recover your full power.
disclaimer, context - reader is a separate character from the endmin, and in a setting where he hasnāt or doesnāt meet the endmin. alternately explores Camilleās dark side, if there is a consequence to his solitude. leaning to obsessive themes rather than fluff. reader is written as female.
trigger warning - stalking, kidnapping.
You didnāt know when exactly it started.
Was it when you were collecting those buckflowers near the power plateau for medicine or was it when you sneaked into the landbreakerās hideout to steal their weapons?
Or was it when you first even stepped foot in the valley? But it couldnāt be that long ago, right?
Heaving a sigh, you shook your head once to silence your overthinking thoughts while you trudged back to your hideout with the new supplies in hand. Living out here in the wild was already tough as it is, so rationally, you shouldnāt be complaining about how natureās chain of events had been benefitting you.
At least, thatās what youāve been trying to convince yourself of. Although deep down, you already knew, this wasnāt some form of natural cause.
How could it beāwhen every time you walked through a landbreaker camp, they almost always drop dead before even noticing your presence?
How could it beāwhen every hostile animal that came too close ends up a carcass with the pool of their blood seeping out from their chest?
And how could it beāwhen every dead corpse on your feet had those same flutter of red blood-like bats scurrying away after leaving them behind?
āā¦Againā¦?ā You sighed heavily, that anxiousness growing from the pit of your stomach. Crouching down, you inspected the wolf carcass before you, before dragging your knife to slowly cut open the meat for collection. Stuffing the small pieces in your leather bag, you winced as the foul stench of rotting meat filled your senses. āAt least some parts havenāt decayed yet.ā
It has been almost a month since youāve had fresh meat for consumption, ever since animals always came out dead whenever you went out to hunt. The ones alive werenāt much help either, bolting away as soon as you tried closing the distance as if their instincts screamed for flight.
This wasnāt always this way, though. The chain of events even almost deluded you into thinking youād evolved into a scary beast or something, but whenever you checked your mirror?
You looked just fine, your body built like normal. Still that same sweet face, though expression morphing slowly from confusion to anxiously terrified as time went on.
Cute.
Those bloodshot red pairs of eyes stared from afar, taking note of how her lips formed a deep frown from her restless thinking. Probably overthinking every gift heād left for her. He couldnāt help it, she was someone needing of protection. Or so he decided on his own.
Ever since that day he rested on top of a building after a tiring mission and accidentally noticed that defenceless girl struggling against a mere wolf?
He couldnāt stop himself. He was the Sarkaz Keeper of SeÅ”'qa, and grew up with talent for the blood arts. The little strength this girl had with the makeshift weapon in her hand paled in comparison to his own arsenal of power. He usually never steps out to fight if SeÅ”'qa doesnāt call for it, but he also couldnāt just watch this girl get eaten alive by the wolf already tackling her down on the ground.
He told himself, āJust this once.ā as he sent a blood bat to penetrate the wolfās skin, assimilating with its blood and killing it from the inside.
And that was it, he saved the girl from getting her head torn off and flew away from the scene. Back to their own separate lives, without even needing to introduce himself. He had always preferred to work alone, after all.
But fate had its own cruel jokeāhe kept crossing paths with this strange girl, always scavenging for whatever food in the wild she needed, with that useless blade in her grip. A blade is just decoration without proper training.
So again, and again, he told himself, āJust this once.ā
āOne more time.ā
āAgain.ā
Until he himself didnāt realise when he started following this girl aroundāhaving to keep her out of trouble as he started to see all these potential dangers around her. Even a harmless longear wasnāt spared if it even tried to jump near her hideout.
He convinced himself of things.
These longears are going to steal her food, and sheāll starve.
These wolves are going to kill her at night when she sleeps.
And trust that he wouldnāt even let a single landbreaker come close to ever touching a strand of your hair.
The killings were necessary.
For the time left he had before returning to SeÅ”'qa, he could spare some to do this girl a favour. That was weeks ago, but he could afford to delay a few more days.
Whatās a few days difference, right?
Now, here you were, eyes wide in alarm while scanning your surroundings as you dragged your legs to return home. The leather bag with the cut meat slung to your hip as you treaded carefully across the forest, now eerily silent, devoid of living creatures willing to linger.
Every step you took, somehow, you felt the burning sensation of being watched. It raised the goosebumps on your skin and a sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach, but you swallowed your worries, letting out a small exhale as you blamed paranoia.
āā¦Calm down, (Y/n)ā¦ā You whispered to yourself, hoping to convince your inner thoughts. A free hand pressed to your chest. āYouāre fine. Everythingās fine. It must just be the UWST members hunting and getting rid of threatā¦ā
Even though your instincts screamed that something wasnāt right, you refused to acknowledge whatever being was haunting you. If only you could find someone out here that could help youāsurely youāll be able to find a plausible explanation for all the events happening around you.
And right before turning the usual path towards your humble hut, you swore you heard the rustle of leaves nearby. Gasping, you whipped your head behind, only to see nothing except the looming trees along the path. Your eyes squinted as your heart beat fast, turning on your heel to bolt back homeāonly to bump on a chest, as you fell back on the ground.
āUgh!ā Pulling your scraped hands away from the ground, you lift your gaze up to see curious eyes staring down at you. It was what you were searching for, a UWST member!
āMiss? Iām sorry, are you okay?ā He bent down and offered a hand, an apologetic frown on his lips. He raised a brow in curiosity. It wasnāt everyday that he sees people out here in the wilds that werenāt part of Endfield or UWST. āIām Marko, from UWST. What are you doing out here?ā
Your eyes lit up with relief. āFinally! Someone that can help!ā
Blood splattered over your cheeks, as you were met with the face of a man meeting death far too early. His eyes rolled back, skin turning blue as a lance made of solid blood pierced through his neck and bone by one swoop. He fell to his knees, gravity pulling him forwards to slump towards you.
Screaming, you crawled back as fast as you can, legs kicking forward. Your hopes were crushed instantly, replaced with pure terror as you stare wide-eyed at the towering shadow behind the corpse. You were stunned in fear and your body betrayed you with that pathetic trembling, voice barely able to leave your throat as you were finally laid bare in his presence.
A blood red wing spread out on one side of his slim frame, and those stern eyes a dangerous glint of crimson. He didnāt say anything at first, accessing your reaction. It was the first time he actually showed himself to you after all. A part of him knew itād overwhelm you.
āThereās no need to be afraid.ā He said, as the wing retracted back to his back, disappearing as fast as it appeared. The tang of iron filled your sensesāplus the rapid beating of your heart out of sheer terror didnāt help lessen the panic filling your bones. āI dislike killing innocents, but he was getting a bit too close to you.ā
āI need to run!ā Your adrenaline spiked, sending flight signals to your body, but for some reasonāyour body was frozen in fear. It was the way you couldnāt break eye contact with him, because something gnawed at you knew that if you moved now, youād anger him.
ā(Y/n), pleaseāmove!ā You scolded yourself internally, chest heaving from fast shallow breathing, fingers digging into your thighs to try and break your frozen state.
That did it, the jolt of pain snapped your senses awake. You inhaled sharply before standing on your feet in an instantāturning to bolt away from danger, caring not for the pouch you left behind.
āItās dangerous that way.ā You heard him call out calmly from behind, before you saw a swerve of red pass right by your side, and he stood in front of you. You gasped as you staggered backāto which, he reached fast to grasp both of your wrists with an iron-clad grip. He stared you down, taking in that flushed face from exertion and fear. His eyes soften a mere fraction when he saw the pure terror in your gaze, but he had to do what he had to do. His grip tightened, before he leaned in and projected his words, explaining his twisted point of view. āThat man could be trying to take advantage of you. I merely disposed of the risk.ā
Your heart sank at his wordsāit might as well be a confession of his sins at this point. A telling of everything that had been happening to you leading up to this moment. Your voice hoarse and raw, as you questioned him, now started to connect pieces of the puzzle.
āDisposeā¦of riskā¦?ā Your gaze flickered to the blood staining his clothes, fresh from that innocent man slain in cold blood. āH-Heā¦.He was a UWST member, and he was trying to help me! How is that a threat?!ā
Camilleās eyes darken at that. Squeezing your wrists a bit more tightly in warning as he mumbled sternly, āYou donāt know that.ā
You ignored the pain shooting up your arm, wincing before smacking your forehead against his hard enough that he was staggered back slightly. The fierce glare of a fighter burning in your eyes. āYou donāt know that he was a danger either!ā
āI was protecting you! He wanted to touch you, a visible threat.ā Camille frustratedly barked back, getting worked up now that his vision didnāt come to plan. He had thought youād be thankful for all the help he gave willingly all this time. Wasnāt that what weak creatures always needed?
Your fear and sadness morphed into angerānow directed to him, the reason of all those dead bodies constantly appearing before you. You had always been a free spirit. A fighter, who chooses to persist even when the hunt was difficult, even when there was danger involved in your landbreaker heists.
Heās taking that freedom away from you.
āLetā¦go of me!ā You thrashed in his grasp, leg shooting out to kick his ankle and break the constraint he had on your wrist. To no avail, he only held you tighter, keeping one hand to bind your wrists while the other wrapped around your waist to pull you flush against him. That bloodshot glare tore through your resolve the longer he held you in placeāa show of dominance that he was indeed, stronger than you.
Alas in nature, the weak are forever prey to the strong.
āYouāre shortsighted. Someone frail like you needs protection to live.ā He started, squeezing your waist painfully, just to prove his point. āEven now, youāre helpless against me.ā
You grit your teeth, biting back your tongue from replying with a snarky remark. The ache you felt in your wrists were evident, as he tightened his hold on you, almost cutting off the blood flow from your fingertips. He noticed the uncomfortable pain you felt when you were unable to even focus your vision at him properly, hazed by your own tears and anger.
He loosened his hold just slightly for you to breathe easier but still tight enough to keep you bound to him. He himself wasnāt aware of the little soft spot he had developed for youāunable to bear seeing you in pain.
Sighing, he leaned his forehead against yoursā gaze softening and those red hues returned to his neutral greyish blue eyes. āā¦Will you listen to meā¦?ā His voice was softer and hesitant, almost pleading. Seeking to gain your approval. āIāll keep you safe.ā
Your lips form a confused and frustrated frown upon seeing how his personality shifted. Even so, your rage wasnāt quelled just because he suddenly softened his voice. Shaking your head, you tried prying your hands away from his grasp to no avail. Instead, it only served to snap him back into alarm, crushing your wrists into that bone-crushing grip againāhis eyes glowing that bloodshot red as he scowled, his emotions clouding his rationale.
āDonāt be stubborn, no one but me can protect you!ā
āUghāI donāt need it!ā
The more you squirmed, the tighter he held to the point that you had to bite down on your own lower lip hard to try and not scream, tears stung your eyelids as pain shot through your body.
āYouāre making it harder for the both of us.ā He murmured darkly, completely going haywire in his paranoia and obsessive insistence. The hand he had around your waist snaked higher, before he leaned ināpressing his nose to your neck, breathing in your scent. The fear, the anger, he took them all in.
āIāve observed you. Clumsy. All over the place. Pathetically scavenging scraps for food.ā
His lips part to lightly graze his teeth on the sweet plush skin, fangs gliding over tantalisingly. It was cool to the touchāyet all you could feel was that sickening twist in your stomach.
āDonāt worry, (Y/n). Iām here now.ā He whispered, sweet if not for how you donāt even know his name.
You know nothing of this stranger.
But for him, ensuring you lived another day was enough. And heāll stop at nothing to ensure it.
