The dirt road was brown and the leaves were green and Ox's shirt was red, and Ox said it smelled like trees, but more importantly, it had smelled like candy canes and pinecones and epic and awesome, and Joe wanted to go rawr and grr, especially to scare away whatever made Ox sad. He didn't want any blue to touch Ox ever again.
