I'm sorry you experience the bad part of the fandom so much right now. It's really tiring. Whenever I'm on tiktok and open the comments it's always stuff like "oh, this is harco, right? Right???? That's the only way this could be nice."

Why can't we just enjoy different forms of art? Why do we have the need to put two queer characters into strict stereotypes even though being queer often is about not fitting the norm? Why is that the stuff we're talking about instead of discussing the characters themselves without putting the focus on their assumed gender and sex roles?

Also, I've experienced people intentionally attacking a (random?) person who creates drarry content. So this poor artist who just wants to be creative with characters they learned to love gets bashed af. As if the problem was people creating queer stuff based on a queerphobic story and not the queerphobic story itself which tries to push people like that creator down. That only results in people bashing queer stuff one way or another.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why this is a highly discussed topic and I think it's important to not consume HP related stuff without questioning the concept of it. But I simply see no harm in it. Honestly, during my life writing and reading HP/DM-fanfiction sometimes was the only thing that kept me going.

Well, idk, this actually is just me rambling but it makes me so mad and sad at the same time because this definitely isn't what made me fall in love with this ship. I guess I just wanted you to know you're not alone with your feelings.

Exactly this! I never see Drarry because “THE SEX IS HOT” No, it's their dynamic and how people create their relationship and all stories that make me fall in love with Drarry!

The first Drarry fic that makes me fall in love with Drarry is HP-DM. And love every second of it.

But many stories that fit my taste are DMHP. But I found that many HP-DM stories have a trope that harms my journey as queer person. So I leave it, and I still cherish those amazing HP DM stories that made me fall in love with them.

And that's what makes it fun. Many people enjoying like this and that and there always a million way to have fun with the characters! It's giving more options on how people like it.

Well, it's the Drarry community attacking one another (sound stupid right? BECAUSE IT IS!!)

It's a fight between who tops and who bottoms, and it quickly turns into a heated debate BECAUSE WHY??? sex position.

My prefer T/B always gets hated because the other community disagrees on it, and I remember back in the days when I read my prefer dynamic of my ship, there was always a comment “THIS CHARACTER IS BOTTOM,” and it's annoying. I can't tell if it's their first time in fandom, but we gotta understand everyone has their own preferred dynamic. And okay, y'all can talk about why you hate or dislike this dynamic, but please be respectful. There is always an open discussion about why people like it this way.

In a fandom, there are always a million and a thousand ways how people enjoy their stuff; there will never be one. That's the fun of being in the fandom!!!

You can't force what anyone likes, what they prefer, or how they implement their character. But antagonizing one another has just gone too far.

This headcanon is mostly based on how canonically Harry has been shown to like/or at least appreciate expensive things. I think the most well known instance was in book 1 when he tried to buy a golden cauldron but was stopped by Hagrid.

I remember a fic about Royal Harry and servant Draco. It has a good opening, but it flops shortly after, so I wouldn't recommend it. But I love the idea so much.

It's kinda dark but these what I remember,

What I found interesting is the world-building: there is a royal family or Royal clan based in four Hogwarts houses, and the Slytherin kingdom is known as the evil one, trying to overthrow the other castles and take control. So the war began, and in the end, the Slytherin kingdom collapsed, and the people who associated with that kingdom became victims of human trafficking and became a long selection of enslaved people/servants.

Harry want to find a servant from there and the kingdom is grim and everyone eyes sunken and pale and obviously barely take care of as the place is run by the authority so they won’t do any sketchy things.

The people there select few people that would be a good servant for Harry but suddenly there’s a loud yelling on the end of the building

Harry's eyes immediately went to Draco, and unlike the others, Draco is feisty and tries to fight the guard who tries to drag him or maybe punish him for disobedience. Harry walked and stopped in front of him, and was immediately caught by Draco's silver eyes.

I’m not sure why Harry picked Draco in the end. It’s probably that one fic where they make Draco the equivalent of a Manhwa girl mc who can only rely on their looks to conquer, presumably why I dropped it instantly then.

But I would love it if the fic turned into one where Draco tries to become a proper servant, but has the tendency to attempt to flee, but Harry greets him with kindness and respect, and ever provides him with many things to have a good life.

Draco grew calmer, though he remained hyper-aware of his surroundings and a little lonely, since he was from the Slytherin kingdom and people frowned and gave him an ill look. The only person who treats him decently is Harry.

And so their relationship grew, and they shared any stories. And Draco became the only person who knew how Harry disliked his position as royalty because he wanted to be free from the many rules of royalty, which he wished he could avoid. I mean, he used to defy the rules, but he got so much trouble in the past, and royalty have strict ordinances.

And so the story shall be continued. It's a rough idea I have, and exploring the political stuff there would be amazing, especially human protection, either should Harry or should he not, save those people who are stuck under the human trafficking, the result as punishment from the war they did not start, rather by the man who controls them.

The idea of Auror Harry cross-dressing somehow felt empowering. Either way, do what you like, boo.

But in this part, I always support and enjoy the idea of Harry finally having a chance to learn more about himself that he never explored. Canon Harry may not have cared what he was wearing, but maybe later he became more aware of it. Harry exploring more about himself on a more personal level is something I always crave. And he is wearing feminine stuff just because he feels good in it? Hell yeah.

Or he complains that there aren't many men who choose in style and wear girlie stuff because it's more flexible. Fuck yeah. And maybe in establishing the Drarry relationship, it could be a date for them, as Draco used to be the one dragging Harry shopping, and now both of them are having fun dressing Harry up and seeing what makes Harry happy and confident in.

Someone wants you to know they appreciate you a lot! They hope you know how loved you are, and that you deserve all the nice things!

A a and YES! Agree! Draco will buy him many of them if not the quantity he would absolutely buy, but Harry would buy him a humongous, human-sized teddy bear.

When Harry complained about why he would buy a human-sized bear, Draco gave a reason with “remind me of you,” and bought a pair of round glasses the next day for the teddy.

“Look, can't even tell you apart,” Draco teases Harry, and Harry laughs at the ridiculousness. To commemorate the ridiculousness, Harry wanted to take a photo of himself and a human-sized teddy bear who is a bit taller than him.

Hey there anon. It's okay, no one is being mean. It's just the internet being internet; it's tired when the same topic keeps coming up again and again, and instead of just ignoring the stuff you don't like, they decide to stoke the fire and spout hate here and there, and it's so childish. It's triggering somewhat because it's a gay couple…why does the need for a top and bottom to be a big deal and the things to be debated? The top and bottom are a sex position, and yet people make it into a gender role. It's triggering me a lot.

Nah , 100% peacock. He cares about his blood purity’s, always show off and peacock also is a symbol of pride. Just like Draco , peacocks are very expressive and charismatic and absolutely attention seeking showing the arrogance element to it.

I do say, the canon of description of Veela does fall to a devil look like. I love the fandom portrays it because it brings more sense to it and more in-depth than what ever JKR created. I do understand why people dislike it tho , I enjoy it because some of fics that makes me into DMHP are sweet and lovely story.

This, I do have to scavenger hunt to find a good fic because many of the Veela fics portrays Draco to overly feminized because of descriptions of Veela women to be very lean and beautiful. That always falls to the impression of heteronormative dynamic. I never enjoy that kind of stuff.
