I want to be clear that none of these thoughts are true and are not a comment on transgender identities. These are SPECIFICALLY meant to be portrayals of the fears that may come with being a closeted trans person, fears that stem from transphobic stereotypes and interactions.

This is meant to be Kageyama thinking of the "worst case scenario" for his/her relationship with Hinata in regard to coming out after being stealth for the entire time they've been friends. Even knowing that, realistically, Hinata would probably be supportive, it's still scary. And being supportive doesn’t necessarily mean nothing will change…
