The young model that was usually brimming with energy was, for once, exhausted after an incredibly long day. He had been yawning while the makeup and complex decorations were taken off him and, once he was free to go, the first thing he did was to lean against his bodyguard's chest. "Tired... I don't think I can walk another step to save my life." He was just being dramatic now but truly couldn't wait to sleep the entire trip back to the penthouse.

𝔱𝔥𝔢 𝔰𝔥𝔬𝔬𝔱 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔪𝔲𝔠𝔥 𝔩𝔬𝔫𝔤𝔢𝔯 𝔱𝔥𝔞𝔫 𝔢𝔵𝔭𝔢𝔠𝔱𝔢𝔡 . . . the day drawing lazily into the night until the lighting was no longer viable && the crew was just as tired as the models. despite all of the hard work everyone put in, the photos came out well as far as lir could tell. he was no photographer nor one to analyze the art itself, but he could appreciate the end result. he stood by for the entire stood, rarely taking a seat or a moment to himself. there were just too many people with too many sticky fingers to feel cu would be completely safe. though they'd had insisted it was perfectly safe, lir kept watch; he liked to think nothing happened because he was so inclined to keep an eye out.

of course when the shoot did come to a close; makeup being taken off && the crew packing up equipment, lir could visibly see the exhaustion painted on the model's face. makeup could hide all those tired lines but when the day was finished, the mask had to come off. when cu did manage to meet up with lir, their form rested against him. he didn't mind, the most lir had done is stand there && keep watch-- his job being much easier in comparison to what cu had gone through for the shoot. lir could do without the drama; but he expected it && came prepared for it regardless. he reaches around, rubbing a small circle in the model's back; pressing them just a bit closer. 

❝ atleast try to make it to the car, i'll carry you up after we get back to the penthouse. ❞ his tone was soft, reassuring && utterly kind given how tired they were. lir drew back just a bit, offering them a bottle of water he'd been holding onto for after the shoot. though lir was just their bodyguard, it was difficult to say he didn't care about cu on a more interpersonal level. even after telling them to at least make it to the car on their own two feet, lir still supported cu's weight. 

❝ finish your water, take a nap int he car && i'll cook for you when we get back. no more take out this week. ❞

𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖉𝖎𝖗𝖊𝖈𝖙𝖔𝖗 𝖙𝖆𝖐𝖊𝖘 𝖆 𝖑𝖔𝖔𝖐 𝖆𝖙 𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖜𝖗𝖎𝖘𝖙𝖜𝖆𝖙𝖈𝖍 . . . surmising that once again, shanjie is late. this occurrence didn't happen often, but since he'd had become director shanjie had been late to their meetings atleast twice now. he'd assume the solider was dealing with something rather important; but the minutes ticked down to a half hour by this point. lir decided it was best to go looking for him-- to see what sort of trouble the other may have gotten himself into.

of course his early morning search became fruitful as a commotion can be heard in one of the further corridors. his steps are slowed && quiet as he recognizes one of the voices as shanjies'. while not entirely shouting, the tone of voice is stern; nearly on a threatening level. the back and forth banter is far from friendly, && lir now realizes it's two individuals having this conversation with shanjie. lir takes a step out of the shadows, shanjie coming into plain view with his arms crossed defiantly && his legs spaced. he can't help but notice the smug grin on his face; as if the timing played entirely too well in his favor. the two men have their backs to lir, very apparent they are not happy with the accusations shanjie has thrown their way. 

it is then shanjie makes a small remark that only seems to deepen his smug disposition, ❝ management does not take kindly to that sort of behavior. ❞ the pair of opposing men grit && bare their teeth; tipping closer to the edge of a violent interaction. lir decides to make his presence known, once clearing his throat && demanding the attention of those involved. ❝ and what pray tell would management not approve of ? ❞ the question is aimed towards the two men, who seemingly shrink against his words. the pair parts, now facing the director, looking like children caught in a squabble in the school yard. their replies are a jumbled mess of good mornings && a half hearted explanation, all the while shanjie hasn't moved a single inch. 

❝ i believe you two are meant to be out in the field today. ❞ once again directing his tone towards the two troublemakers. whether they were actually meant to be in the field or not was completely arbitrary, a direct order rather than a suggestion. they shove off immediately, not daring to throw shanjie nor the director a spare glance. lir eyes their forms as they leave, his arms crossing over his breast.

his attention now settles upon shanjie, ❝ i won't be here every time you start trouble you know. i'd consider you lucky this time considering i came looking for you. ❞

𝔦𝔱'𝔰 𝔱𝔬𝔬 𝔩𝔞𝔱𝔢 𝔱𝔬 𝔯𝔢𝔤𝔯𝔢𝔱 . . . the text has been sent and after sometime as been accepted with a double heart emoji. lir wasn't entire sure what sort of shenanigans it would ensure; yet he remained hopeful floyd would behave. thought a small part of him, wished he wouldn't. in the closing hours of the lounge; lir remained seated, eyeing his fish wife carefully with a placket grin on his face. eventually floyd did come to deliver his order. . . post haste. and floyd nearly never went back on his word. 

when the eel saunters over, lir's heart beats alittle bit faster in his breast. a fair mix of excitement && fear for what the unpredictable student would do. though when his hand in laid bare-- free of it's gloved fabric && brought to the eels lips for a taste, his breathing all but stops. the promised pearlly whites puncture the skin deeply nicking a tendon as he does. lir is completely defenseless-- struggle only issuing a more violent reaction than just letting floyd do as he pleases. though it isn't would pain, infact it does hurt. rather than being cut by a jagged blade it feels more like a slice of a very sharp knife-- clean by all accounts. mismatched eyes hold their stare, as if a gauntlet was thrown daring for lir to pick it up.

of course when a subtle wetness of blood makes itself present, lir remains deathly still. his exhale is the only known movement in the seemingly still lounge. save for a few dancing lights to set the mood. even then is the challenge left untouched. this was the outcome lir had been looking for after all, a wild hair of wanting to choose violence today over anything else. who better to befit something so unhinged than his wife ??

the familiar lap running along the inside of his wound let lir know, his offering was being fully enjoyed; with some restraint of course. the thin tickle of a second pair of jaws creeping forward just enough to catch lir's attention. it was human to want to rip his hand away and tend to his wound, though he almost welcomed it. despite pain starting to slip into his mind && body, lir found the whole ordeal erotic. an oddly satisfying feeling that floyd did not disappoint in giving. his breath hitches as his lids come to a half-closed position. the gentle hum from the eel sets the whole thing in motion-- his thoughts wandering to what other parts of his body could be marred in such an animalistic way. importunely the moment is gone all too soon as lir's hand is released. a dabs the afflicted area with a napkin, removing what remnants of saliva left behind. much like a feline seeing something it absolutely wants, floyd's pupils dilatate-- lir understand this to be a danger zone. as floyd had mentioned before-- blood in the water often collected unwanted advances. he covers his wound, to dampen the metallic smell wafting so freely in the air. 

floyd had given him a friendly warning, one that would not go unappreciated given the circumstances. however a small soft whine can't be helped from the heartslabyul student. he stands slowly, careful not to spook the heightened senses of the residents; rounding the table to place a kiss upon his fish wife's cheek. ❝ thank you wifey. ❞

it isn't over. one good turn deserves another && lir is happy to fulfil a carnal desire especially when floyd had been so good about the ordeal. ❝ perhaps we can do this again, in a more private setting. ❞

𝖎𝖙 𝖎𝖘𝖓'𝖙𝖆 𝖓𝖔𝖗𝖒𝖆𝖑 𝖉𝖆𝖞 𝖚𝖓𝖑𝖊𝖘𝖘 𝖎𝖓𝖘𝖚𝖑𝖙𝖘 𝖆𝖗𝖊 𝖙𝖍𝖗𝖔𝖜𝖓 . . . in milou's case, this instance was everyday. of course as housewarden she had responsibilities other students didn't need to bother with, lir included. though when he had the time to spare, he offered to help manage those responsibilities. a task was given && he set out to complete said task-- however milou seems to have a playful streak; one that invloves danger with a dash of malice. 

despite entering the lounge in a state of disray, the bloom of a bruise swelling over his hands && lip; he got what he came for. a small sachet of mandols was dropped before her, lir more than peeved with her response. but ultimately what he expected. ❝ the savanna claw student paid up after a little persuasion. but next time you're on your own. ❞ or ask the eels to do it. 

he expected a thank you or atleast some form of gratitude; though he suspected one wouldn't come. instead he opted to touch on the matter of their deal. lir was wary of signing contracts; his mother warned him to always read the fine print but he was at his wits end with his search. he was searching for a specific plant that only grew in the deepest depths of the ocean, a journey he would not ever make himself if he could help it. ❝ did you find the flower yet ?  ❞

𝖈𝖔𝖓𝖙𝖎𝖓𝖚𝖊𝖉 𝖋𝖗𝖔𝖒 𝖍𝖊𝖗𝖊 . . . @despairforme

𝕹𝖔𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖓𝖌 𝖈𝖔𝖚𝖑𝖉 𝖍𝖆𝖛𝖊 𝖕𝖗𝖊𝖕𝖆𝖗𝖊𝖉 𝖍𝖎𝖒 𝖋𝖔𝖗 𝖜𝖍𝖆𝖙 𝖜𝖆𝖘 𝖆𝖇𝖔𝖚𝖙 𝖙𝖔 𝖈𝖔𝖒𝖊 . . . his immediate thought lead to more dire fantasies; perhaps the tall man had a killer streak, needed help disposing of evidence even ?? but when it came time to meeting up, lir was surprised to find nothing seemed out of place. not a drop of blood outside of the body, nor any cuts or scraps to lure harm. so what was this about if it wasn't for something so macabre ??

a hand lifted to the sky in greeting; lir swearing he could touch the stars if nnoitra so choose to. eyes follow catching a glimpse of the blinding sun-- the day almost felt too happy to be called comfortable. where was the catch ?? it was hard to tell what sort of grin the other sported, considering they were nearly always GRINNING. but he exhales, shoulders sagging momentarily as if bracing for what was to come. he was already there, might as well see what had gotten the giant so excited. 

❝ sign up? what sign up? what have you signed us up for ?! ❞ upon exclaiming, lir wasn't given much of a choice thereafter, nnoitra's hand had found the cuffs of his shoulders && promptly began pulling him along. lir hadn't imagined the mantis could pull his along with such ease, much less without having the need to look back to see if he was still following along. of course lir was considerably tall by normal means, be he still needed to stretch in long strides to keep up. 

if it wasn't work related; this must be sugar related.

𝔰𝔠𝔯𝔞𝔭 𝔴𝔞𝔰 𝔞𝔩𝔪𝔬𝔰𝔱 𝔦𝔫𝔰𝔲𝔩𝔱𝔦𝔫𝔤 . . .  he been through much worse. though the amount of sticky blood coating his fingers would be alarming to anyone. his suit; RUINED. though the worst of it was over, he'd managed to stitch the wound closed in a haphazard way with spare thread from the first aid kit he'd kept in his office. lir never assumed it would ever need to be used on himself, but this new position was just chalk-full of surprises. a glass of brady sat upon his desk, dried prints of hemoglobin caking the edges as if it were part of the scuffle itself. it was moreso an aid to the pain of having to close a wound; arguably more than a curved needle & thread. he takes the glass, drawing a long burning sip, wincing once as it coats his throat. 

❝ you know how it is with disgruntled employees. ❞ he's almost grinning at fox, acutely aware how the situation must look. its almost laughable how caught off guard lir was, he should have seen it coming. the offender had twisted the knife in his gut, a commendable action but not entirely enough to end his life. if they had been a bit more precise. . . going for the jugular or perhaps even the upper torso, well lir may not be sitting so comfortably in his office currently. 

❝ i should have called, postponed our meeting. i apologize for the unsightly mess. ❞ much like the tending to his wound; his apology was just as haphazard. he felt tired after having to stumble around medical supplies to find what he needed, he didn't bother with a bandage but settled for pressing a crumpled length of gauze on the wound. was it efficient ?? by no mean whatsoever, but it was good enough. he would heal fairly quickly anyway. once again he's grinning, more pointed in his company's direction, ❝ a hospital won't be necessary. i'll admit im not used to doing patch work on myself. ❞ lir felt a sliver of guilt, fox was always dressed in luxury; or atleast anytime lir had his company. white gloves poised around in a way that always kept them clean, clothes pressed && creased in a professional manner. he wouldn't dream of having them muddy their attire for the sake of himself; much less that of unnecessary bloodshed.

hello hello! is this thing on ?! gosh it's been atleast a week since ive been active, ive been busy with work, home renovations, moderating & star rail. i hope you can brave with me alittle longer-- so this will be a hiatus notice, until monday the 22nd of may.

𝔥𝔢'𝔰 𝔬𝔳𝔢𝔯 𝔴𝔬𝔯𝔨𝔢𝔡 𝔥𝔦𝔪𝔰𝔢𝔩𝔣 𝔞𝔤𝔞𝔦𝔫 . . . the tired lines on his features growing darker with lack of sleep. no doubt his patience wearing thinner by the hour. lir made note of this but made no comment towards it-- azul wasn't the type to openly announce something that could be taken a weakness. the apology itself was short, indicating it wasn't open for discussion; much less one that needed acknowledgment. however a specific scent clung to him; albiet faintly. aside from the salty aroma that was usually associated with octavinelle's dormhead, lir picked up another scent . . . one of a metallic nature. 

silent alarms rang in lir's mind, his eyes searching for the origin of the smell. was it possible that the aforementioned uninvited guest gave him issues ?? azul could handle himself, though lir wasn't considered with how it was delt with but rather if azul had gotten himself hurt in the process. lir looms over the housewarden, the scent itself becoming somewhat stronger as he did. there on the lapel was a spot or two of blood. concern paints his features, though he knows azul's blood is typically blueish in nature-- he forces himself to relax. it must seem foolish to worry over nothing, however instinctually lir cannot help himself. he doesn't enjoy the headspace his emotions put him in-- even if it was for just a moment. the thought of someone laying filthy hands on a housewarden; no, HIS housewarden was enough to insight a noiseless rage. 

❝ i'll assume this guest was dealt with promptly,  ❞ his words are careful, expression still && undiscernible. ❝ unless of course you'd like me to intervene. ❞ the offer is on the table, && if given half an opportunity lir would hunt down the student causing trouble, and introduce himself posthaste. lir's been told his bite is worse than his bark. still the thought remained, what would have happened if the stain had been of a blueish hue ?? would azul even tell the older student or would he just brush it off like it were nothing ??
