She wasn’t  abandoned, though. Not purposefully. She had been misplaced, had gone missing. Just vanished one day. She had been too little to remember that, though, so for as long as she could remember, she had just been little Lucy, a gamine who sold lilies.

“A-alright. If i’s really okay.” Lucy gave a little smile, remaining very sweet in her tone of voice. It was still such a laugh; the facade of kindness most wore over the holidays. This one, however, seemed genuine. Frankly, it unnerved her a bit.

“Oh DARLING, little Chara will adore you. And dear sweet Goblia will take good care of you while I film my special, afterwards we can spend the rest of the holiday together.~” He coos. Obviously too enthused about becoming a guardian to yet another child that he forgets to even introduce himself. This is why he needs others to look after him. Lucy stared at the other. She almost had to bite back a laugh. It was always amusing how charitable people found themselves around the winter months. Suddenly, poor and starving people were things to be pitied opposed to being kicked aside as usual. “Oh, nay. I can’t possibly accept ‘at.” Lucy said, keeping her voice sweet.

“I’ ain’t much, but for the sake of the holiday season, ye can ‘ave a lily for free.”
