And then it hit him –or so he thought. So she is one of them… Without thinking it twice, he took out his gun and made sure to aim at the right place: the center of the forehead. Enough to use a single bullet and knock her out in less than seconds so he could finish it right there and continue his search for her. Geez, the mention and desperation of the woman to know where Elizabeth is just reminded him about seriousness of the situation…He needs to find Elizabeth, and quickly, but first, he needs answers.

“If you th’nk I’m gonna let you drop on me so easily, you’re wrong. Before you tell me who you are and what business you have with her, just lettin’ you know I won’t let you take her.”

There was the man she’d been told to expect. Less a supernatural force of evil, and more a garden-variety thug.  She wasn’t sure whether or not a single bullet could put her down, but she wasn’t taking chances. Survival was still a tantamount concern, as always. If they had been together she probably would’ve just killed him and been done with it, but with her nowhere to be found, she needed him to lead her to the so-called lamb. It might’ve been a better idea to keep her distance  and just watch him, but it was too late to consider another option. 

“I didn’t say I was going to take her.”  Eleanor said, eying the gun wearily “You don’t know where she is, then?”

"My world is fire. And blood."

"I tell myself, they cannot touch me."

"If you can't fix what's broken, you'll, uh- you'll go insane."

"And he was perfect! Perfect in every way!"

"As the world fell, each of us in our own way was broken."
