Uttar Pradesh is making massive progress in infrastructure development as per the latest budget (2024-25), the government has allotted funds for important projects such as the state directed Rs 2057 crore towards the Ganga Expressway, Rs 100 crore was allotted for  Ayodhya's overall development, Rs 150 crore for the expansion of Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, and Rs 1750 crore for road development to various religious sites all across the state.

Transportation

Airports

Under the leadership of Yogi Adityanath Ji, Uttar Pradesh has become the first state in the country with the maximum number of airports. The state is constructing new airports, including the Noida Airport and Ayodhya International Airport.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi, along with the campaign to make India's economy 50 trillion dollars, the state is rapidly moving towards making UP a 10 trillion dollar economy.

At the inauguration ceremony of the International Trade Show-2024, the CM said that this is the same UP, which was considered a barrier to the country's development 7 years ago but today it is being recognised as the engine of development.

Currently, 11 airports are operational in the state and soon 10 airports will be ready among other infrastructure development in UP. Uttar Pradesh is playing a leading role in realising the Prime Minister's self-reliant India. People travelling by road and rail are getting the best facilities.

2. Mukhyamantri Kisan and Sarvhit Bima Yojana

This scheme provides insurance to farmers in case of any natural calamity which may affect crop production the reason for farmer's crop failures could be anything from bad weather to pest attacks. The scheme helps farmers manage their losses by recovering their money. 

3. Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Scheme

To give a push to UP agriculture the farmers are offered a special card called the Kisan Credit Card. With this card, they can borrow money from banks at low interest rates and buy equipment and other supplies for farming.

4. Soil Health Card Scheme

This program gives farmers a card that shows the health of their soil. It tells them what nutrients their soil needs, so they can use the right fertilizers. This helps improve crop yield and quality.

5. Agri-Tech Startups

The government encourages new technology in farming for which the government is promoting startups to develop apps and tools that help farmers for which the government is also providing financial and technological support. For example, they might create an app that gives weather updates or market prices for crops.

6. Paddy and Wheat Purchase Scheme

During harvest time, the government buys paddy (rice) and wheat from farmers at a fixed price to make sure that the farmers get a fair share of their produce in the market and they don’t suffer any losses. 

7. National Agricultural Market (e-NAM)

This is an online market for farmers to sell their crops, directly connecting farmers with the buyers and eliminating the middlemen. On this platform, farmers can connect with buyers from all over the country which will help them to get better prices for their produce.

उत्तर प्रदेश एक ऐसा राज्य है जहां आज भी लगभग 70 प्रतिशत लोग खेती-किसानी पर आश्रित हैं और इसमें से भी करीब 90 प्रतिशत किसान सीमांत एवं लघु श्रेणी के हैं। खास बात यह भी कि ये वही किसान हैं जिनकी थाली का मुख्य हिस्सा कभी मोटा अनाज हुआ करता था 1960 से पहले तक। चूंकि इस वर्ग के अधिकांश किसान कमजोर तबके से थे, लिहाजा परंपरागत खेती में लगने वाले इनपुट इनकी पहुंच के बाहर थे। ऐसे में योगी सरकार ने मोटे अनाजों की खेती के लिए ऐसे करीब 1.5 लाख किसानों को प्रशिक्षित करने का फैसला किया। 

योजना के तहत सरकार मोटे अनाज यानी मिलेट्स के प्रसंस्करण, पैकिंग सह विपणन के 55 केंद्र भी खोलेगी और खेती के उन्नत व आधुनिक तौर तरीकों के प्रशिक्षण के लिए किसानों को प्रशिक्षित किया जाएगा। कहने का मतलब यह कि यूपी में कृषि विकास के लिए योगी सरकार न सिर्फ नगदी, रबी और खरीफ फसलों के विकास के लिए आधुनिक खेती के तरीके को किसानों तक पहुंचा रही है बल्कि यूपी में किसान कल्याण योजनाओं के जरिये परंपरागत खेती को भी ऊंचाई पर पहुंचाने के सारे साजो-सामान उपलब्ध कराने में जुट गई है। यूपी में योगी सरकार के कुशल नेतृत्व में आधुनिक खेती के तरीकों से किसान खुशहाली की राह पर तेजी से बढ़ चले हैं।

उत्तर प्रदेश आधुनिक खेती के तरीके को योगी सरकार जिस तरह से आगे बढ़ा रही है उसके तहत प्रदेश के किसान अब तेजी से डिजिटल हो रहे हैं। स्मार्टफोन इनका अचूक हथियार बन गया है जिसके जरिये अब ये तेजी से खेती की नई तकनीक को आत्मसात कर रहे हैं। किसानों के लिए देश के अग्रणी डिजिटल मार्केट प्लेटफॉर्म ट्रैक्टर जंक्शन की एक रिपोर्ट को मानें तो उत्तर प्रदेश के  किसान तेजी से मॉडर्न हो रहे हैं। वे नित नई तकनीक को अपना रहे हैं। स्मार्टफोन के जरिए वह अपने कृषि कौशल को उन्नति के शिखर पर पहुंचा रहे हैं। इस तरह के सर्वाधिक आधुनिक किसान उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य से हैं। उसके बाद मध्य प्रदेश, राजस्थान और महाराष्ट्र के किसान आते हैं। यूपी समेत ये चार राज्य उन आधुनिक किसानों की सूची में सबसे आगे हैं, जो टेलीमैटिक्स आधारित ट्रैक्टर, मिट्टी परीक्षण और ड्रोन द्वारा कृषि निगरानी जैसी तकनीकों का लाभ उठा रहे हैं। निश्चित रूप से इससे कृषि उपज और फसलों की गुणवत्ता में काफी सुधार हुआ है।

दरअसल, विभिन्न एग्रीटेक स्टार्टअप किसानों को उपज की गुणवत्ता में सुधार लाने, लागत को अनुकूलित करने और उन्नत एवं डिजिटल कृषि तकनीक के साथ खाद्य उत्पादनों के बारे में पता लगाने की क्षमता को सुनिश्चित करने में मदद पहुंचाते हैं। आर्टिफिशियल इंटेलिजेंस आधारित स्पेक्ट्रल एनालिटिक्स, इमेज एनालिटिक्स और सेंसर एनालिटिक्स के साथ, उत्तर प्रदेश गुणवत्तापूर्ण फसल प्रबंधन में काफी आग निकल चुका है। तकनीक से संचालित खेती-किसानी अधिक आय सृजन के लिए पराली और फसल अवशेषों के स्थायी प्रबंधन को सक्षम बना रहे हैं। यूपी के किसान अब ऑनलाइन प्लेटफॉर्म के जरिये आधुनिक खेती के तरीकों की तरकीब का भरपूर लाभ उठा रहे हैं।

गन्ना किसानों को लाभ देने के लिए फॉर्म मशीनरी बैंक योजना के तहत समितियों को कृषि यंत्र खरीदने की सुविधा दी गई है। इन कृषि यंत्रों में गन्ने के खेत में फसल अवशेष प्रबंधन के काम आने वाला मल्चर, बुवाई के लिए ट्रेंच ऑपनर, छिड़काव के लिए स्प्रेयर टैंकर और पेड़ी प्रबंधन के लिए रेटून मैंनेजमेंट डिवाइस आदि यंत्र शामिल है। समितियों ने इन यंत्रों को चलाने के लिए ट्रैक्टर भी खरीद लिए हैं। इन कृषि यंत्रों को लघु व सीमांत किसानों को सस्ते किराए पर दिये जाने का प्रावधान है। 

योगी सरकार ने उत्तर प्रदेश राज्य जैव ऊर्जा नीति 2022 का जो ड्राफ्ट तैयार किया है, उसमें कृषि अपशष्टि आधारित बायो सीएनजी, सीबीजी इकाइयों को कई तरह के प्रोत्साहन का प्रावधान किया गया है। सरकार की मंशा हर जिले में सीबीजी प्लांट लगाने की है। इससे यूपी के 17 लाख किसानों को बड़ा फायदा होने जा रहा है। वायु प्रदूषण का अहम कारक बने फसल अवशेष (पराली) के निस्तारण में यह बायो डीकंपोजर काफी अहम हैं। इस तरह के प्लांट का सीधा मतलब यह हुआ कि ऊर्जा क्षेत्र में भी अन्नदाता किसानों की बड़ी भूमिका होने जा रही है और इस ऊर्जा उत्पादन के क्षेत्र से जुड़कर वह अतिरक्ति आय भी अर्जित करेंगे।
