My last pool function yesterday with my favorites!

The Marine Corps, and The Great American Rivalry sponsored the

MSgt. led PT yesterday with a killer upper body workout. Today I wake up sore as shit…. Shoulders feelin’ bolder tho! This is my fourth to last group PT session. I leave to recruit training in 13 DAAAAAAYS!

Pre-Ship Complete! My job ended up changing. Signed my final contract. So bye bye Comm 0631. I'm now 04xx Logistics.

So it seems like the word is spreading. Nearly 30 days til I ship, & more of my friends & family are accepting my decision. But let's get thigs straight. I want to become a U.S. Marine to prove to myself that I can take any challenge & be the best I can be. To prove how strong my mother raised me to be, to one day have my father realize that I never needed him to be who I am. I've learned to move on without him. This ain't no pity party, so don't feel sorry for me....

I'm content with who I am, & where I'm going in life. And I must say that I'm truly blessed for this opportunity. Looking back, seeing that I have attempted to enlist in other branches, I now realize it was never my time.

I am destined to become one of the few & proud.
