it really overstimulates me when someone is playing music or a video on their phone where i can hear (like w/o headphones.) i am very sensitive to noise. i wear noise canceling earphones and headphones constantly. i have to have sounds to drown out even people talking around me. it makes me physically sick and uncomfortable.

my partner knows all this and yet continues to play music & videos on his phone right next to me all the time. and i always have to ask him to put some headphones in or go to a different room. like DAILY. we have been together for 8 years so it’s not like this is new information.
