setsuo started off as a really flat concept because i thought it’d be funny to give shihoka’s old friends an actual face, but as of lately i’ve been feeling kind of fond of them. they’re still a loser to me though.

ive been thinking about nagisa a lot lately! i once talked a little about how i viewed her as the playable protagonist if cardenio were a game. i say that because nagisa is someone who isnt uncomfortable with taking action, and his choice to help others is what drives cardenio’s beginnings. nagisa’s engagement with other people being what sets off a chain of events is something i really like about her, especially since it contrasts harushige’s avoidant nature. though this isn’t about him lol
