There’s something comical about the purpose of the visit to a Doctor’s office being to pee in a cup. I had an appointment a couple of weeks ago and unfortunately provided my sample to the toilet moments before being informed that I probably should have waited. This meant that I had to call in, make sure it was a good time, then drive up to take care of it. So here I am on the phone with the receptionist making sure it’s a good time for me to drop by and pee into a cup. I found the circumstances of that call and visit absolutely hilarious. I think it’s that the nature of the visit was so deliberately what it was - It wasn’t a consequence of the visit, it WAS the visit.
