Self love spells are actually one of my favorite spells to cast. It’s a ritual that I usually take a whole day for, but let me tell you, the time it takes is so so so worth it. It’s like a whole spa day, and you feel amazing after it!

It starts off with cleaning my space of all the physical clutter, sweeping with cinnamon and mopping with rose water, changing the bedsheets then energetically cleansing the space. I usually smoke cleanse with Palo Santo and a raven’s feather, then make a little simmer pot on my alter.

Also side note- if you smoke cleanse please make sure you have good ventilation or open a window 🥹

After all the cleaning and cleansing is done I do some self care. There are a couple different things you could do, but my favorite is taking a milk bath. I usually put rose petals and lavender into the bath as well as rose quartz and candles around the bathroom. I like to play music that makes me feel energetic, elegant, and sensual. Sometimes I like to do a face mask as well.

After the bath I put on a bra and panty set or a fun little lingerie set, get my favorite robe, it’s black and silky 🥰 if I feel like it I’ll do some light makeup, make sure my hair is how I like it. I’ll grab water or wine or even juice sometimes just because I like having something to drink.

Now here is where the spell truly starts. It’s honestly really simple. I like to play music, the same kind as earlier but a bit more sensual and flirtatious. I stand in front of the mirror and admire myself. I’ll love the parts of myself that I find myself hating sometimes. I’ll sing and dance for myself, sometimes I’ll strip for myself, other times I’ll simply speak out loud, saying the things that I love about myself. Then I’ll journal about what I realized, what changed, what ways I can respect and love myself more.
