Me, listening to âKiss the Girlâ a couple days ago: âI love this, but I really wish there were a same-gender take on it.â
Me, yesterday: I wish there were more queer songs by bisexual men.
Keiynan Lonsdale, an openly bi man, today: *releases Kiss the Boy*Â Â
Me: I AM A BISEXUAL SEER. A QUEER SEER.Â
I think my favorite is the third verse:
Don't want to hide Don't want to hide Most of my life I've been terrified Spending my days always questioning Am I wrong to love a man I realised I realised Ain't gotta hide this heart of mine I'm gonna fight just to let you know To open your light and let it glow
(Image description: a circle bordered by flowers and leaves on a white background; in the center are the words âThere are more than two genders.â)
I donât understand but I agree.

this has the aura of being funny but i genuinely have no idea what the fuck any of them are saying
bÜÜls of waâah
this is what Scottish Twitter is supposed to sound like
i was talking a lil on my twitter about how i enjoyed stuff when i was in middle schoolÂ
Inspired by the 250 miles post, I made this out of my other favourite meme song, Wonderwall. Every second beat is skipped.
May I present to you, Wo er wal.
This is honestly fucking me up, by removing the second beat you somehow turned Wonderwall into a 1960s garage rock anthem
Sip sip sip #hognose #snake #snek #reptiblr
Someone call the cops. This is too cute to be legal.
I donât know what it is about Star Wars but even if itâs not your biggest fandom, it still has the funniest memes by a long shot I mean âlook at all the fucks i give anakinâ and âyour poncho is a piece of junkâ and anakin hates sand itâs all just 1000% pure class
YOU CANâT BEAT THIS SHIT
And my new favorite:

In Which a Neural Network Learns to Tell Knock-Knock Jokes
The neural network can be trained to write recipes, invent Pokemon, and invent superhero names. But can it learn to tell a joke?
@researchbuzz generously provided me with a list of 200 knock-knock jokes - brief and highly formulaic, they seemed to be the form of joke best-suited for a neural network to reproduce. I figured it would quickly learn the formula, but would never, never manage to tell an actual joke.
It proved me wrong.Â
Very early on, the network figured out that question marks were important somehow, as were the words âKnockâ and âwhoâ in some mysterious way:
Koo k ano? ? Khnck Knock oae?t rA Â noc? Knock Woock Whecr lwhot h o nwoe hio
In very short order, it learned to begin a knock-knock joke, and almost never got that part wrong again. But the rest of the formula took quite a while to figure out, and the algorithm frequently devolved into playing a game of telephone with itself:
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Iane Aatar who? Aaane who? Aan who? Anac who? Iobe who? Irata who?
Next it figured out the formula, but no actual, you know, words:
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Bool Hane who? Scheres are then the there
Then it learned the joke about the cow with no lips which became its Favorite Thing Ever, even if it didnât know how to properly tell it. The punchline to Every Single Joke was ooo ooooo oooâŚ
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Alec Anic who? Wow co poo the tho tho door to the soout oo ooo oooo ooo oo oo oo oo ooo oo oo oo ooo ooo oooo ooo ooo oo oo ooo ooo ooo ooo ooo oo oo ooo ooo ooo ooo oo oo oo ooo ooo ooo oooâŚ
It made it past this stage, but still had problems that were remarkably similar to two people telling knock-knock jokes over a very bad phone connection, and maybe forgetting who was telling the actual joke:
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Alther Water who? Water who who? Who who? Arton and out on the moor?
At last it figured out the basic formula and proceeded to make jokes that, while technically correct, didnât make all that much sense. Many of them were partially plagiarized from jokes in the training dataset.
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Hiwl Howlowwhowhow
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Ireland Ireland who? Ireland you money, butt.
And then.
It produced. An actual joke. I checked, and this one most definitely wasnât in the dataset. There was one about Alec, but the pun was âAlec-tricityâ. There was one about knock-knock jokes themselves, but it was âIrish I knew more knock-knock jokesâ. And it didnât produce this just once, but over and over again. I give you possibly the freakiest thing the neural network has done to date:
Knock Knock Whoâs There? Alec Alec who? Alec- Knock Knock jokes.
To all my writers out there, particularly fanfic writers because I am one and Iâm feelin this hardcoreâŚ
Itâs okay that you havenât written for a while, you can take breaks.
You can start writing again whenever you want, you donât need an excuse.
If you would still like an excuse, here it is: I want you to start again, you should totally do it.
Itâs ok if youâre out of practice, youâll pick up traction again.
Weâre all learners and its good to have role models, but try to be better than the writer were before, and try less to be âas good asâ someone else.
Itâs alright to abandon a piece if you have no enthusiasm or passion left for it.
Itâs okay to be needlessly dramatic.
Itâs okay to be needlessly ridiculous.
Write the crackfic, write the rarepair, or write the popular pair. Write what you want to write.
Yes someone has probably written this scene before.
Write it anyway if you want to write it.
Yeah that trope has probably been done a million times.
Use it anyway if you want to use it.
Probably there are people who are tired of reading about that AU.
Write it anyway, they donât have to read it.
Respect your audience, but donât let other people dictate what you create.
Reblog your own work. Be proud of it. You deserve to pat yourself on the back.
Iâm proud of you, youâre doing great.
Keep writing, keep making stuff. People will care.Â
Future you will especially care.
im subscribed, are you?
god lmao now im going thru my google docs where I wrote out some articles for thisâŚ. Enjoy this gem: WHO WEAR IT BETTER?
Fritz the helpy dog: Â Fritz was look fresh to death in she DO NOT PET!!! Vest. it may seem a weird clothe at first, since who do not want pet? But madder of fact, Fritz is just to busy for this pets. she have a people to help, which was noblest dog trait. We certerfy this clothe to be BEST!!
Bingo, Crimeinal biteing dog: Bingo were seen wearing sleak & sexey black vest which may have allegidly say âK-9â, he wear it while bite criminal man and look for angry, bad plants and vegetable in car. We try to interview bingo and he barked very meanly and create a big scene. We have to admit that this clothe was SCARY and NOT BEST AT ALL!
things writers can (probably) relate to
-making the facial expression your characterâs making and trying to describe it
-writing entire scenes in your head as you shower and not remembering most of it by the time you get to your computer
-deciding you canât do something youâve been looking forward to until you write what you told yourself you were going to write, resulting in you laying in your bed doing nothing
-having two completely different ideas for your story to go in and both seem equally good but you canât do both and you also canât choose
-having docs with stories you know youâll never finish but not deleting them anyway, even if theyâre only a couple sentences long
-getting random bursts of productivity that could go towards homework or cleaning your room or writing and you know youâll only be able to do one
-getting inspiration from the most random things
-writing at inopportune times because a perfect line or dialogue just popped into your head and you have to get it down before you forget it
-âwhat are you writing?â ââŚâŚ..a storyâ
- âwhat do you want to do when you grow up?â âuunnghnnggguughhhhhâ
-reveling in the embarrassment you put your characters through
WOW WHY ARE THESE ALL SO TRUE
I DO ALL THESE. NO LIE.
Yes. Housework instead of homework but yes, all of these.
