Old Passions

Hey guys. It’s been a hell of a long time since I came on here. I feel as if I need to explain. I keep telling you all that I’ll update. I would end up doing but only for a short period of time. Life would get in the way. Last time I posted I think I was recovering from some bullshit that happened earlier that year including dealing with a stressful summer semester. And life still gets me. Eats me away. But I’m learning to make the best of it day by day.

Frankly, I realize that I’ve grown FAR apart from playing the sims. It’s just been gathering dust on the shelves and becoming a waste of space on my computer. 

I had SO many ideas I wanted to play out. I was really excited for the current arc I was doing. Because of that excitement toppled with other issues, I made a promise to myself that I would at LEAST finish this arc and then that would be the end. My magnum opus. But recently, I’ve realized that that’s not going to happen. This shit happens all the time. I’m not disappointed in myself or anything. It’s just that I’m moving on to different avenues. 

With that being said, I am leaving this community. I felt welcomed here. I’ll never forget my time in this fandom, all the people that I enjoyed seeing on my dash every day, or even the people that reached out to me. That made me feel so good about myself. Because of that, being in this fandom helped me reach to different platforms. To that, I say thank you to all. 

I won’t delete the blog for people who still want access to my downloads. That may change in the near or far future.

However, it’s not like I’m dropping off the face of the Earth. I have my personal tumblr, @resonantagitator if you want to see just random posts. I also have my art blog now turned into a mystic messenger blog, @larknnightingale . Finally I have a let’s play channel with my cousin called atleftandright. We just play random stuff and make god-awful commentary.

Nate: I’m not good at this.

Virydiana: That’s okay! No training rails. Just go for it!

Nate: I didn’t really care for it. I had other things on my mind than to date someone. 

Virydiana: Did you ever have someone who wanted to date you?

Nate: Some. But I can be intimidating.

Virydiana: I don’t find you intimidating. You’re really nice!

Nate: Why? 

Virydiana: You’re really honest, even if you don’t talk a lot. I like that about you. 

Nate: Well...um...thanks.

Virydiana: Hold on! I know you’re not a talker but that’s okay. I don’t mind it.

Nate: But I know I’m boring you. I don’t have anything to say.

Virydiana: Come on Nate, everyone has something to say, you just need to dig deep. 

Nate: I don’t want to dig deep.

Nate: ...

Virydiana: ...

Virydiana: So what are you majoring in?

Nate: Music.

Virydiana: Oh that’s so cool! What instrument do you play?

Nate: I play a variety of instruments.

Virydiana: What’s your favorite?

Nate: I don’t know, I never really preferred one over the other.

Mark: That’s uh...great! Hehe, first date! Nervous?

Nate: I don’t know. I’m just going to play it by ear.

Mark: I...hm...Virydiana?

Mark: It’s a girl, isn’t it?

Nate: I don’t think it’s fair to always assume it’s a girl.

Mark: Oh yeah, sorry. Somebody...is that good?

Nate: I guess.

Mark: So you’re going out to see somebody. Your first date. My boy’s growing up.

Nate: Yeah, whatever.

Mark: So who is the lucky gal or guy? Is it Katie down the hall? Or...uh...the guy who’s always playing hacky sack? 

Nate: That guy has a knatted beard. I hate beards.

Mark: Is it because you can’t grow one?

Nate: Shut up.

Mark: Anyways, who is it?

Nate: I’m heading out.

Mark: Woah there partner! You’re going somewhere?

Nate: Yeah.

Mark: <(￣︶￣)>

Nate: I-I don’t know. Are you sure?

Virydiana: Why wouldn’t I be sure?

Nate: It’s just that..ugh...I-

Virydiana: Mark told me you never dated anyone before...is that what you were going to say?

Nate: ..Yeah. Didn’t think he would tell anyone about that. 

Virydiana: Sorry. But I don’t care about that. Hell, I’ll show you a good time! 

Nate: Okay.

Virydiana: Okay!?

Nate: Okay.

Virydiana: Are you available tonight?

Nate: I’m free.

Virydiana: Mark and I were just hanging out as friends! You wouldn’t have got between us! And I could have taught you how to bowl i-if you said so.

Nate: Uh...I guess I could have gone then.

Virydiana: H-hey, listen...Nate?

Nate: Yeah.

Virydiana: Hey! Uh...wait!

Nate: Hm? Oh, you were from the cafe.

Virydiana: Hoo! Yeah, that was me. You know, all cherry faced...probably like I am now.

Nate: Yeah, just like now.

Virydiana: Uh...it was a shame you couldn’t go bowling with us the other day. It...kind of would have been cool to have had a...um...third person.

Virydiana: I-uh-uh-umm...I’m V-Virydiana, Mark’s classmate. Well, he’s been my friend for a while now too and I-u-umm...yeah.

Nate: I’m Nate.

Virydiana: H-hey Nate.

Nate: ...

Virydiana: Awwwwweeeessssome to meet you.

Nate: ...It’s nice to meet you too.

Virydiana: Hehe...oh Plumbob.

Mark: Wow Viry, what got you so red? It is kind of hot today, and you are wearing a turtleneck.

Virydiana: Y-yeah. I’m super hot right now and it’s getting to my head.

Nate: Yeah you’re really red. You should sit down.

Virydiana: Good idea! Sitting would help!

Nate: Well...I think I’ll skip on the bowling. I’ll be back at the dorm.

Nate: I was told to come here immediately. What is it?

Mark: I thought I told you. I found someone for you.

Nate: No, you said, “Come over to the coffee house right now. Bye”.

Mark: Oh. I must have been too excited and forgot to say it. I do that sometimes.

Nate: So...

Mark: Shhheee, couldn’t make it.

Nate: Then why am I here?

Mark: Because I told you at the last possible second that you would be hanging with us.

Nate: Ugh.

Mark: Hey, but you can still hang with us. The original plan was to go bowling.

Nate: Who is us?

Mark: What’s the deal? Where’s your friend?

Virydiana: She just texted me. Her grandma fell again and she had to head out to Bridgeport to take care of her.

Mark: Damn the feeble!

Virydiana: Hey!

Mark: Sorry. Insensitive, I know. But what am I going to do? I called my friend saying that I found someone for him and to come over immediately!

Virydiana: Did you message him at the last minute? I told you we would all go bowling today, five days ago.

Mark: I thought telling him at the last minute would make him excited!
