Wattpad has not gone on a smut purge and banned all smut from the app. That is false. Wattpad did not take down all smut or ban all accounts that write smut.
Yes, wattpad using AI to moderate shit is bad but this 'new' TOS has been in place since 2021! And all the smut books are still up on the website.
Please, stop being general and saying they're banning all smut because they're not.
They said that porn no plot, smut of animals or under aged characters/people, and fics with pornographic images will be banned.
There are still those taboo fics, porn no plot, and original works with topics such as kidnapping available on the app and website, wattpad did not wipe the app of kidnapped by one direction fanfiction. You just see this message if you search ''Kidnapped'"

Generative AI is stupid! T*mblr has banned explicit videos and gifs but as we know porn bots and other accounts repost porn onto this website all the time so, if you're just writing/reading smut I'm sure you're fine. Books I know for a fact are smut one-shots were updated TODAY and are still available to read.
As long as your fic is labeled M for mature and tagged properly there is no real reason your fic would be taken down
Upload your fics to another platform if it helps you feel a bit safer!! But stop making such broad statements because of something a couple of people online said.
EDIT: The law enforcement thing will likely just not end well for the company of wattpad. Reporting fanfic and fictional scenarios with fictional characters to the police is seen as a waste of public resources outside of Canada and is illegal.

It was my understanding that when ppl say white characters "can't handle allat" abt black characters that was just a nice way of saying the black character is out of the white character's league or that ppl are just saying they're more attracted to the black character. Apparently that was my projection and some ppl are just racist oof lol. I didn't realize it was more of a backhanded bs sort of thing.
White/non black people on this app use it as a way of saying that black characters are much too sexual in nature to date white characters.
