   there’s a blush forming on his cheeks. he didn’t think he was getting riled up this time. but also he supposes if kirishima is to be believed he does count as a rowdy boy so maybe that is not too much of a surprise.

     he presses his face into his hand. his ancestors are traitors. allowing him to blush so much. but he’s gotta rip this band aid off sometime. even if they aren’t hiding it, there’s still a lump in his throat because this is the first time he’s had the chance to really say it. ever.

   his demeanor is offputting , but she just gives him a small smile and concerned , furrowed brows . ochaco had been concerned for him , but she doubted it was something severe . were it the case , she was sure he would talk to her about it . they WERE best friends , after all .

           at the blush , she crosses her arms at him and waits patiently , silently . she knew that when he got like this , it was best to just wait it out and let him fumble and fuss . though , once she hears ‘ boyfriend ‘ , her hands drop and she GRINS .

             he stuffs his phone and notebook into his backpack. he presses a kiss to shouto’s sleepy but definitely awake temple promising he’ll be back in a couple hours probably. though he does get pulled back in for another longer kiss, he did promise uraraka specifically. he looks so cute that if it had been anyone but her he would have cancelled.

    ‘ nah , you ‘re fine , izu - kun ! what ‘ s up ? ‘ she really had just gotten down , needing to get a clean shirt and some shorts since hers were still from yesterday . she offered a patient smile , though she had a suspicion of what might be going on .
