I really want to enjoy TM AUS as a whole but the way the fandom treats Josh Thomas especially really rubs me the wrong way. Tom Gleeson doesn't really help cause I feel like he can be a bit too harsh, but it's mainly the fandom. Yeah it's funny that Josh turned his back to the worker (not a real worker btw) before they had to sketch him but why are people saying he's rude and arrogant?? Idc if people like him or not, but it just really irritated me seeing that. I would probably do the same thing, I'm extremely awkward.

So while my hyperfixation on it died down, I really love Taskmaster. I'm also really into Jesus Christ Superstar. I may not really like Taskmaster Australia but I love the idea of Tim Minchin (one of my favorite Judi) on it. They might focus on like Matilda or something but if it happens they need to bring up Judas with locs. I mean if season five is something to go by there probably won't be musical references but a person can dream
Merlin being damned for all time but with being immortal and living long past his friends, not with the guilt of betraying his closest friend. He still has that, obviously, but nothing hurts more then knowing you'll never ever get closure.

Jesus Christ Superstar (2000)
Just a few things that drive me insane about the whole merthur jedas thing.
Arthur was a miracle baby, he was never really supposed to be born cause his parents couldn't conceive but they used magic. While he was never prophesied to die on the cross, his story still ends in death. Just not one to cleanse the world of sin.
Merlin being a Judas parallel despite Jesus being known for miracles means something. I'm too tired and excited over these revelations that I can't exactly point out what it means, but it's important.
A Jesus without miracles and a Judas with an abundance.
Thinking about the most Merlin Judas and most Arthur Jesus since I reblogged that masterpiece cause we should know by now that I'll never be normal about shit like this. Tell me if this is too crazy.
Merlin Iscariot:
I think Swedas cause out of all the Judi I've watched, he seems the most devoted to Jesus. All the jealousy aside, he genuinely believes in Jesus and wants the best for him. While there are several snarky Judi that can probably bicker like Merlin, I think only Swedas has the right energy; He can back up his insults and not really afraid to fight. Also I have a thing for manbuns so sue me for wanting Merlin with one. I think Swedas' energy in Superstar would be Merlin's if he were in the same situation.
Arthur Christ:
This might seem random cause it is but bear with me. I cast Judas first so I thought "who would have similar chemistry with Swedas as Arthur does with Merlin?" and Stevesus popped in my head. I think he's a little more reserved then Arthur probably would be but has the daddy issues to pull it back. While all Jesuses have that, I think Stevesus copes with it similarly to Arthur, which is just face the shit head on and try to ignore your feelings. I'm pulling all that out my ass but I stand by it. Also Arthur with dark roots anyone? Ok that's it.

My favorite part of watching JCS is seeing what direction a production goes in, like are we going for full stage musical or rock concert? Is it dance heavy or will that be saved for the overture, Superstar and what have you?
