After the toasts and all the things that happen with weddings, Matt grinning and whooping and doing his usual because A. He had a couple drinks by now, but mainly B. Since it’s his best friend’s big day. There was that momentary lapse where he said something to Ames that he should have kept to himself, and didn’t know if he should just stuff it back to where it resided because nothing would ever come of it. Matt learned that already with all the shit luck he’s had these past couple years.
“Looking good out there, Anderson.” he said as he went up to Blaine and gave him a hip bump. “See, I told you I wouldn’t embarrass you too much today. But don’t expect me to be on my best behavior at the next event.”

Blaine shot Matt a nonplussed look, although a tiny smile still tugged at the corner of his mouth at his antics. “The wedding isn’t over yet, there’s still time,” he pointed out, hip-bumping right back. He was loose and happy and had all of his favorite people in one place, and even his father’s stone-faced silence at the parents’ table couldn’t overshadow the smile on Blaine’s face every time he looked over at Kurt.
Instead he slung one arm over Matt’s shoulders lazily. “The next event won’t be my wedding, so have at it.”
