- Twoo’s email to Spring.me users, expecting them to be thrilled that their data was now slapped onto a dating profile.

Because of Twoo’s track-record with spam, many users didn't, and no doubt still don't, realise that they'd been signed up to the service, due to the collection of Twoo’s emails by spam filters. Gmail’s spam filter, minus a few recent messages from Twoo, has blocked the majority of their communications.

The arguments are exploding on Twitter - as unsurprisingly, people don't like it when they're forced into a service they didn't sign up for.

Twoo has been attempting to do damage control, but users who have deleted their newly created Twoo accounts are claiming that they are still receiving emails from the service.

.@Twoo Yes, I've done that multiple times. I've still been receiving 'matches' & other unwanted spam since.
