Access to e-resources for partner staff
We know that as staff at our  partner centres, you need to be able to access University of Sunderland library to prepare your teaching and to support students who are Sunderland library resources.
You'll know that all students can use their University User ID and password to access the full range of e-resources, but did you know that staff at our partner centres may be eligible for a University of Sunderland Athens Account to enable access to e-resources?
Partner staff log into Sunderland library resources in a different way to students. You'll need an Athens Account.
Who is eligible?
Staff who are teaching or supporting full or joint franchise programmes and are:
authorised to teach on University of Sunderland Progarmmes
librarians who support students in use of resources
How to apply
Every Faculty within Sunderland has appointed representatives to manage requests. Click here to see who your faculty representative is.
Contact your faculty representative to request access.
They will send you a form to complete and sign. It is an editable pdf. You will need to return it to your faculty representative
They will submit a request on your behalf.
The library will check your eligibility and create your account.
You will be emailed with your login details and information about how to make the most of the library.
