And the safety briefing included the question “So if you’re pregnant, do you want to know or not?”

Turns out there had been a bit of an awkward situation once where the keepers had casually mentioned a woman’s pregnancy in a group, and she herself didn’t even know yet. Turns out the wolves are excellent at telling if you’re pregnant and the keepers can tell based on their body language.  They get all odd and careful around pregnancy. (Even wolves knows that you have to take care of pregnant people.)

So they definitely knew she was pregnant.

And if I remember my BBC documentaries right, a wolf will leave the pack to give birth and introduce the cubs to the pack once she feels ready for it. And maternity leave is flexible but often around 6 months so they’re going “YOU WERE GONE FOREVER! WE WERE SO WORRIED! WHERE ARE THE CUBS?? WE HAVE TO GREET THE CUBS!!“ 

Now, I know this is a pretty intense scene, but do you all remember that scene where Elise (Sonic 06) dies because Sonic couldn’t make it to Eggman’s airship in time before it exploded?

Even though this game probably isn’t canon to the Sonic timeline isn’t canon, I wanted to point out the amount of pain he felt after realizing he couldn’t save her. If Silver hadn’t suggested the option to use the Chaos Emeralds to travel back in time to prevent Elise’s death, Sonic would’ve had to live with the fact that he couldn’t protect her like he promised he would.

I also want to mention the episode in Sonic X where Sonic literally gets BEATEN UNCONSCIOUS by one of Eggman’s robots in an attempt to save Chris even though he knew he probably didn’t stand a chance at save him… BUT YET HE STILL RISKED HIS LIFE.

Hell, look at the way Sonic goes back to save Tails after he got knocked down by Storm the Albatross in the Sonic Riders intro. In that game, Sonic mainly cared about being faster than Jet, but yet when it came to helping Tails, he didn’t even hesitate to do it.

The point I’m trying to make is that Sonic naturally does whatever he can to save others no matter what it takes and when he realizes that he couldn’t save someone… it tears him apart inside. 

So imagine what kind of pain he probably felt realizing there was literally nothing he could do to save his friend from being obliterated into oblivion.

Look at when he saved Cream in Sonic X and kept reassuring her how he would make sure she would be okay even though the facility was heavily guarded.

I know that Cream isn’t technically one of the small woodland creatures he saves, but it’s another point I needed to make because he genuinely cares so much about the safety and well being of others so much no matter how bad the situation is.

This is a workout I’ve been doing, and even though it hasn’t been long, I can feeI and notice the difference. Warm ups are the same as cool downs, so just repeat them when you’re done working out.
