You gotta understand that some people never really grow. They never learn their lesson. They never recognise their mistakes, they never acknowledge their faults, they never admit they were in the wrong. You will never receive an apology from them, and you will never see their behaviour change.

Accept what happened. The past is done. You can't go back and change it, no matter how much you want to. What you can do is stop letting it control your present. Accept it, learn from it, and let it be part of your story not the whole story.

The disrespect at the end was louder than every good memory we ever had-and that's when I knew I was done.
