nostalgia is a fucking bitch who lies to get attention. she says those times were good. she asks you if you long for how everything was. she is a siren of past tense. she is the type to text you at 3am “I miss you, you up?” But she knows damn well you’re already asleep. And in the morning when you try to confront her, she denies it all. don’t give nostalgia any power over you. don’t surrender to a cunning and evil force that will trap you in your own thoughts. Live in the now, it’s the only time that truly belongs to you.

Nostalgia will never miss you as much as you miss it.
