And it led me to a doom scroll for about 30 mins in tiktok of once again being obsessed with freaking Doctor Legundo Vsmp
I hate how much I love his character bro.
Just a fascinating interesting controversial character.
Anytime he's brought up it brings such joy.
I'm rant and geek out about this character so I can freaking get it out of my system so I can continue on with my life for 2 weeks before I jump right back in it again xD
Spoilers obviously if you haven't watched Legundo pov of vampires
WATCH IT FOR THE LOVE GOD IF YOU LOVE GETTING HIT WITH EMOTIONAL BRICKS!
With an interesting painful but also complicated in terms of morality backstory
Where he was in a war and killed in battles and poisoned a whole town that went so bad that they resorted to the cannibalism
It killed about 5500 people
Men women and children who were innocent citizens.
And was Celebrated for people he murdered
And then when you try to make up for it by being a doctor he ends up killing more for healing them and sending them back to the front lines to die.
With a kill count of 6313 +3 from the story
(WHICH IS HIGHER THAN THE VAMPIRE WHO BRAGGED ABOUT A MASSACRE! )
And having the mentality where you want to disappear but you feel that it's selfish to do.
So as a self punishment you stay alive and try to save as many people as you can.
Has an interesting relationship that's toxic as all hell and complicated and is my favorite ship of the series because of the depth of the relationship between the characters.
Every conversation between Owen and legs is absolute Cinema!
I fricking love bloodletting so much
Not because they're gay for each other (okay little bit)
It's because they don't work and will probably never will without major change in their character or story
And maybe if Louis was somehow alive.
(yes I'm Trustbites enjoyer idk how I usually not in to shipping like that...)
I love the docs other platonic Bonds
They add so much that improves both characters!
with Cleo being a trauma buddy where they can just vent to each other and trust each other and support each other.
I truly believe Cleo was the only person who saw the real Doc.
knew about the pain and self loathing he constantly going through.
Knew that he was secretly trying to help Owen specifically.
He told her what he did in the past which if you think about it takes a lot because the only person who knew was Owen and it got that through his blood.
He even trust Cleo to turn him if he's about to die so he can keep fighting.
Something that was really his worst nightmare he trusted Cleo to do!
And then the end of Cleo's episode!!!
And with abolish and the doc having this kind of father-son relationship.
I remember from abolishes POV legs told him to stay and explore with the group because he's been isolated in the town for so long.
And that time where he trusted abolish to go to the castle alone.
And that time when they were cornered consecrating a beacon and they were so locked in and confident on having each other's back against three vampires.
And that time when abolish wanted to try to take a walk with the doctor when he lost his temper.
Even when abolish was mad for the doc randomly disappearing at the finale and all that anger disappearing when he sees him again covered in blood as a vampire.
Even though abolish played it off like he doesn't care
I know he thinks of the doc fondly and it's probably why he keeps such tabs on Scott.
Cuz it's that personal!!!
There friendship is so cool where even outside of role play you just love them interacting because they played off each other so well!
His fascinating decision making
Where you can't if he's doing the right thing or the wrong thing.
But you can tell his self-loathing and past influences decisions.
I love that he is far from perfect and not just this hero character.
Love that cc!Legundo intended for the doc to break his oaths at one point.
He makes mistakes and he's only human after all.
I love the scenes when he loses his temper and can hold a grudge.
And sometimes give me off this intimidating Force as a freaking human!
But he's also sassy as all hell
Freaking love how he despised v!Scott from the get-go. And you can just sense the hatred coming off this man xD
I freaking loved when turned mad In sanity terms when he got turned! I was waiting for that man to lose his mind cuz I knew it was going to happen.
He started to crack on episode 7 and episode 8 he broke! And I'm so happy he broke!
Just to pick at his brain on how this character may act and how he works and how he feels makes such an interesting conversation!
Especially if he's put into different situations in fanfics
and the ending is so satisfying!!!
It's the good ending but it's such a satisfying one.
And I sadly cannot think of a better ending for him in terms of story.
I can't help to praise how Legundo played him
And i probably will never get over him.
Which sucks because he may never come up again!!!
When that documentary happens that we earned in the subathon
