i'm very bad at teasing things i'm working on in case i just don't manage to actually finish them, but have something from a thing i'm working on & excited about

some doodles from last week while i was out of town

i wanted to have it ready for prints today (TDOV) but i haven't had my shit together to do anything but wave feebly at POD stuff for months, and i kind of only want to do this one in hand-accented prints From Me because the gold accents are just not the same no matter how i edit them in post.

also made a 'genderfuckery' playlist that's currently just Chris Corner projects & had the thought of expanding a story that was turned down for the project i wrote it for into the Cabal homage one of the beta readers thought it was

a thing i'm working on is taking longer than i thought it might, but Also isn't just stalling out making this post bullshit, so have some studies i did a while back working out colors and method because all my attempts at progress shots of it have been complete balls due to the lighting situation

wanted to see what kind of colorful experimental fuckery i could get up to outside of ~enhanced~ headspace, so i spent today dicking around with a thing i started as venting yesterday & turned into one of my ocs having a Time bringing out their eldritch familiar Thing™

my Neocities website has been upgraded from 'world's laziest Linktree knockoff' to 'decent babby's first css/html effort with some stuff that needs filling in', please clap, I'm not good at this

someday i will manage to use diluting gouache to simulate translucency to my own admittedly bananas standards and then i will be unstoppable

a doodle i liked behind which the only actual thought was wanting to draw something in blue & pink, hence the kind of awkward pose

if only i could reproduce this kind of screwing around outside of my sketchbook & planned at least nominally so that parts of it don't run into the spiral binding or edge of the paper

also tempted to fill the rest of this & finally do the tapestry/blanket thing with more than one option, it's roughly the same size as the thing i scanned for the other one
