If you haven’t watched “Why Are We Getting So Fat?” on Netflix, you absolutely need to like yesterday. This documentary sheds light on why we have an obesity epidemic and how your gut bacteria and genetics play a part in you’re weight and the ability to lose it or your inability to gain it no matter what you eat. Well, today is the day before school starts and we’re spending it relaxing outside and swimming in the pool (Hawaiian Falls was a bust!). I just learned an interesting tid bit of information while watching one of my school videos. There are people that have issues with EGGS and it causes inflammation and joint pain. 🥚 I mean I know you can be allergic to foods, but I would have never suspected eggs. So, I just want to take a minute to let you know a few things that happened today when I was at the grocery store. Here goes.... 1. I practiced what I was preaching to you all today at the grocery store. Instead of going for the canned corn/green beans, I opted for frozen. Granted they aren't organic, but I did one small step and got away from the aluminum! 2. I failed today because I broke down and got a Pepsi Zero while I was in line at the check-out. I'm not going to beat myself up over it because, well, to be honest, I have a migraine and needed the caffeine. So, the point is, we are all learning to do better. We won't ever do things 100% all of the time.
