Aviendha’s hair length in Winter’s Heart.

Although it still can’t be very long. I’d be surprised if it was much past her shoulders. She only started growing it out in Shadow Rising and Winter’s Heart can’t be more than one year later (I’m not looking up the timeline for this). Presumably she trimmed as it grew to even it out and so it didn’t look like shit. This would encourage growth, bit there is still an actual limit to how long her hair can be, just based on hair growth time.

So, I’d say within the time frame of the series it could only be maybe just-past-shoulder length. Unless the Wise Ones have a magic hair growing serum. Which they could.

Or maybe Sorilea just scares the hair into growing.

The issue is when people draw her with long flowy hair way down to her lower back, like Egwene and Elayne. No fucking way that’s happened. (I mean… artists can draw her any way they like, and they shouldn’t be given shit over it, obviously, but if we’re talking about what’s realistic and what’s not? Yeah, that’s not.)
