THE PROTOTYPE IS EVIL!
This is why I think so!
I know it’s a weird title for this but I have to ask, has anyone noticed that when the toys are being violent/killing they have white irises?!?
I have a strange thought that all the toys CAN resist the prototype quiet well, but it’s in a small moment or break in the mental psyche that allows him to slip in and take control. How? Well let’s look at the CG5 and Mob Games music trailer. Catnap is seen with black eyes. I don’t believe his eyes are closed in this moment! He is looking at this gas mask and remembering something (undoubtedly due to him being fitted with this gas as his primary weapon) it most likely is something along the lines of abuse, mental and physical pain. This could be when the prototype once again gains control of the him.
The prototype acts as a friend and makes the victim or the child feel like he is on their side, telling Theo he’s his friend. As for Dogday he could be blackmailing him telling him using pain he is causing him through Theo (Catnap), that it can stop that he can be free from everything he is going through if he submits to his influence.
And so being in pain (which is know to drive people mad depending on the length of time and amount of pain) Dogday’s tired, in pain and suffering finally mentally succumbs to the prototype.
Might I also point out that Huggy and Mommy also have been put under this influence, however they may or may not have any control of it or even know it’s happening! This could be due to a weaker mentality!
**Side note! If you look at the smaller toys they have buttons for eyes, there is proof they can see with them on! As we see with the hoppy hopscotch plush looking at the door/window at an image. So the point of removing them revealing the glowing white irises is not necessary unless it’s a cult way of showing allegiance to the prototype!**
