Introduction: The Bible as a Covenant Journey

The Bible is not merely a collection of religious writings; it is the record of God's covenant relationship with humanity. From Genesis to Revelation, we see a progressive movement of God's purpose unfolding through different covenant stages.

A covenant is not simply a promise; it is a relationship, a responsibility, and a pathway through which God restores His original intention for humanity.

The question we must ask today is:

Why does Christianity, which once transformed nations and generations, appear to be losing its influence among many believers?

The answer may not only be that people are rejecting God. The deeper question is whether many believers have stopped following the progressive movement of God's revelation.

1. The Old Covenant: The Foundation of God's Restoration

God began His covenant journey with humanity through Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and the prophets.

The Old Covenant established:

- God's holiness

- Humanity's responsibility

- The need for redemption

- The promise of a coming Messiah

The prophets constantly pointed beyond themselves toward a greater fulfillment.

Jeremiah spoke of a coming New Covenant:

"Behold, the days are coming... when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel." (Jeremiah 31:31)

The Old Covenant was not the final destination. It was preparation.

2. The New Covenant: The Fulfillment Through Jesus Christ

Jesus came establishing the New Covenant through His life, death, and resurrection.

The New Covenant shifted the focus from external law to internal transformation:

- From stone tablets to transformed hearts

- From rituals to relationship

- From separation to reconciliation with God

Jesus taught:

"Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven."

This prayer reveals that God's purpose was never only to save individuals for heaven, but to restore God's order on earth.

The New Covenant opened the door, but the journey of restoration continues.

3. Why Is Christianity Losing Ground?

One reason is that many believers have reduced the New Covenant into a personal salvation message only.

Christianity often emphasizes:

"Jesus died for my sins"

but sometimes neglects:

"God's Kingdom must come and transform the world."

When faith becomes only about escaping the world instead of restoring the world, believers lose the original vision of God's covenant purpose.

Many people today see a contradiction:

- A faith preaching love but divided by hatred

- A faith preaching holiness but sometimes associated with corruption

- A faith preaching God's Kingdom but often focused only on church survival

The problem is not necessarily Christ; the problem is humanity's incomplete understanding and application of the covenant.

4. The Completed Covenant Perspective

The Completed Covenant perspective sees God's revelation as progressive.

God does not abandon previous covenants; He fulfills them.

Just as the New Covenant fulfilled the Old Covenant, the Completed Covenant is understood as the next stage of God's restoration — where God's original purpose for humanity becomes fully realized.

The focus moves toward:

- Restored relationship between God and humanity

- True families centered on divine love

- Humanity fulfilling responsibility as God's representatives

- The Kingdom of God becoming a reality on earth

The final goal is not merely believers waiting for heaven, but heaven becoming reflected on earth.

5. The Danger of Remaining in an Earlier Stage

If God is moving forward but believers remain only in an earlier understanding, they may miss what God is doing.

A child who refuses to grow remains connected to the past but cannot experience maturity.

In the same way, God's revelation moves from:

Creation → Fall → Restoration → Fulfillment

The covenant journey is about returning humanity to God's original intention.

Conclusion: The Call of the Covenant People

The challenge before believers today is not simply defending Christianity.

It is discovering the heart of God's covenant purpose.

God's question is:

"Will humanity continue building a religious system, or will humanity participate in restoring God's original Kingdom?"

The Completed Covenant calls believers beyond religious identity into covenant responsibility.

The purpose of God has always been:

"Let us make mankind in our image."

The destination of the covenant journey is humanity becoming what God intended from the beginning.

Prayer:

Father, open our understanding to see Your covenant journey throughout history. Help us not to hold onto traditions that prevent us from seeing Your progressive revelation. Teach us to become people who bring Your Kingdom, Your love, and Your purpose into the earth. In Jesus name Amen.

From the Spirit World, Rev. Moon’s voice moved like a wave over the earth—not in sound, but in spirit. It reached the hearts of those who still prayed in the quiet, who still longed for heaven’s will to be done on earth.

"Children, I have not left you. The Father’s dream still burns within Me, and I see every sacrifice you make in silence. But I also see the divisions, the bitterness, and the weariness that have entered some hearts. You must cast them out. The Kingdom cannot be built with hands holding onto grudges or minds clouded by self-interest."

His gaze seemed to sweep across oceans and continents.

"I am watching the leaders and the followers alike. Some of you have grown complacent, thinking the foundation is enough. But the providence moves forward only when you move forward. This is a time to rebuild—not structures, but hearts. Remember, the greatest victory is love, and the greatest loss is the failure to love."

Then his tone deepened, carrying urgency.

"Do not be afraid of small beginnings. Do not be afraid to stand alone if truth calls you. I am calling for champions of heaven—men and women who will live not for their name, but for God’s name. Unite beyond walls, beyond factions, beyond misunderstandings. Let the world see the face of True Parents through your actions."

The moonlight brightened, as though the Spirit World itself leaned closer.

The God Who Needs Liberation!

The gospel of miracles and prosperity has distorted the true message of Christ.

It has little to do with the Second Coming—and everything to do with self-centered faith. Instead of preparing hearts for the return of the Lord, it has complicated the essence of faith, diluted the divine identity of Christ and God, and reduced the Second Advent to material expectations.

Tragically, pastoral ministry has shifted from being a divine calling to a lucrative career. The shepherd now often serves his own comfort rather than the sheep.

CROWN OF GLORY

When I doubt people, I feel pain.

When I judge people, it is unbearable.

When I hate people, there is no value to my existence.

Yet if I believe, I am deceived.

If I love, I am betrayed.

Suffering and grieving tonight, my head in my hands

Am I wrong?

Yes, I am wrong.

Even though we are deceived, still believe.

Though we are betrayed, still forgive.

Love completely even those who hate you.

Wipe your tears away and welcome with a smile

Those who know nothing but deceit

And those who betray without regret.

Oh Master! The pain of loving!

Look at my hands.

Place your hand on my chest.

John Testifies About Jesus

John 1:29-34

29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said, “Look, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 31 I myself did not know him, but the reason I came baptizing with water was that he might be revealed to Israel.”

32 Then John gave this testimony: “I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him. 33 And I myself did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘The man on whom you see the Spirit come down and remain is the one who will baptize with the Holy Spirit.’ 34 I have seen and I testify that this is God’s Chosen One.”
