✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ Urie’s eyes narrowed slightly, face turning to the side as a show of how reluctant he was to answer that question “You disappeared on me. I was worried you were causing troubles for someone, that’s all” he lied easily.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ There was however, some surprise at the feeling of arms around his waist, Shiki’s warmth rather soothing after so long of missing it “A date? That’s surprising of you… I thought you knew by now I don’t really go on dates unless its with pretty girls~” 

Sure he was. He was worried for him, not because he was causing trouble. Plus he was totally lonely. When will Urie ever learn that he can’t hide anything from someone who’s looked at him so closely, who’s been with him for so long, who knows how he ticks. It was cute that he still tries.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ it was hard to resist the temptation of petting Shiki’s head, specially when those cute little horns would earnestly showcase Shiki’s emotions. Like the ears of a pup. However, he wasn’t expecting Shiki to lean into it so readily.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ “Figure things out?” he questioned, rather interested by whatever that entailed “And don’t apologize about it. Makes it sound as if I was lonely or something” which he actually, very much was.

❝Mhm..~❞ He didn’t explain further of it though. He didn’t exactly feel like telling Urie nor was he exactly ready for that too.

He opened his eyes and smirks ❝But you were weren’t you?❞ He looks down at his phone and shows him the missed calls ❝You wouldn’t have called me so many times or text me if you weren’t.❞ He puts it away and he leans against him, resting his arms loosely around his waist.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ Urie felt a pleasant shiver at the feel of Shiki squeezing back on his hand, returning the gesture and smiling a bit as he felt him leaning closer. Still, he kept his challenging stare onto the guys, willing and able to kick all of them into the dumpster if they dared to step forward. Finally, they seemed to catch up, reluctantly dispersing.

A small sigh of relief, he finally turned to look back at Shiki, that gentle purr feeling cute and warm. And then back to the two girls that were looking at him confused

“Sorry girls, I didn’t knew my best friend had came to visit me” he explained in a gentle tone “I’ll have to leave that coffee date for another day, if you allow me” he gave a gentle bow forward to the two of them, who easily accepted his apology, wishing him to have fun before continuing down the hall on their own.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ “There, they are gone” he smiled at Shiki reaching up with his free arm to pat Shiki’s head “i tried to contact you before… thought you might have returned home. Is everything okay?”

The purple haired male watched as Urie explained. He stared at the girls who soon left. Well now he has Urie all to himself. He didn’t want to share him with anyone. Except with another person that is but anyone else besides them, there’ll be some problems.

Upon feeling the touch of the other’s hand, he leaned against it, gently rubbing his head against the palm. Urie’s touch... he misses it. He loves this touch. His gentleness. At first he was scared, but only because he wasn’t aware of what it was. Now he loves it.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ There it was, the adorable wiggle of those hair horns, matching the moment he had called out for him. Though Urie himself had no clear tell for his emotions, his expression had undoubtedly brightened up at the sight of that familiar face.

He stepped once towards Shiki as well, a small crook of his eyebrow as he noticed the hair horns flattening down. Had something displeased him?

Had he missed him? Probably. Unlike Shiki he had none of his feelings sorted out, still a mess of knots inside his head whenever he tried to find a solution… he had, however, been admittedly lonely without Shiki around.

Golden eyes narrowed slightly as he noticed the hand placed on Shiki’s naked waist. He held onto whatever words he wanted to say, for as much as he wante to, it wasn’t his place to tell Shiki who to be with…

Yet, Shiki himself stepped away from the man and closer to him, saying quite the bold words. Him only? Why did that made him feel… satisfied? As if he had just won some sort of battle. Freeing his arms from the two girls that were previously clinging to him with a small apology, he reached out to hold Shiki’s hand.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ “You heard him. He isn’t interested.” he pulled Shiki even closer to him, throwing a challenging stare to the guys that were all over him just a moment before “He came to see me after all, so you should just give up.”

How oddly satisfying was to act as if Shiki belonged to him.

It was a surprise, to feel Urie’s hand hold his. Urie would never reach out to him like this, not in public. Shiki would always have to be the one to initiate it. So feeling his hand in his, to not be the one to instigate things, it made him happy. He gently squeezed Urie’s hand and he leaned against him as he stood by his side.

He looked up to the flock, glared at them and he covered his face onto Urie’s arm. He smiled, obviously overjoyed. This scent, this warmth, he missed this dearly. Urie Sogami; this is what it feels like and he’s glad that its him.

He purred softly, a sound that Urie probably missed hearing. He listened for the footsteps and irritated grumblings as the crowd of men left. He looked, glancing at the girls then he looks up to Urie.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ Urie’s eyes softened up at the gentle shows of affection he was getting in return. “Fufu, do you like this?” he asked playfully, leaving a couple more kisses on his hair and gently making circles on Shiki’s back.

He usually didn’t spend much time sharing affections with his partners after the deal was done, but with Shiki… he felt like pampering him a bit. Like holding him close and merely enjoying his presence.

Lifting a hand to tickle Shiki’s neck, as if he was a kitten, he prompted him to raise his face so he could press a kiss against his forehead. Then one against each of his cheeks, and finally a chaste kiss right on top of his lips

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ He caressed Shiki’s cheek as he slowly tilted his head, deepening the kiss ever so slightly.

❝Mhm..~❞ Shiki was a sucker for after care. The affection after the deed was done was something he loved most. During and after were so different. He lets his guard down during this time, acting more needy and hungry for affection. He was really glad Urie was giving him this.

He tilts his head back, smiling and purring. He even mewed softly when he felt the other treat him like a kitten. It felt nice.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ Urie rolled his shoulders, a small sigh as the class was finally over and he was free once more. There was a couple of girls that asked him to go grab coffee… an uncharacteristic hesitation took hold of him for a couple of seconds before he smiled an agreement, finally walking out of the classroom with one pretty girl in each arm. He wanted to feel the attention of someone…

Life had been so hectic yet fun after meeting Roen and reuniting with Shiki. He had some fun times with them, and the loneliness seemed to withdraw even if just by a bit… and yet, he had stepped over the line. He had slipped and done things with them he had never expected to do with another man… things that made him feel confused whenever he looked back into it for answers.

And just like that, they had both… disappeared. He had tried to reach out to them, but it seemed rather obvious than neither of them wanted anything to d with him. And just like that, the loneliness that attacked every once and again, like in those rainy days that made him remember of home, was afflicting him now more than ever.

✼:*ﾟ✿ *･ﾟ❁ Lines of golden light falling in a diagonal line through the corridor, he walked fast and barely caring about his surroundings, risking to miss a very important person. Yet he didn’t. The small crowd of males made him look away from the girls for long enough to catch onto that familiar face.

 "Shiki?” he almost couldn’t believe it. The shiki that wouldn’t answer the phone and that wasn’t either as his shop nor home whenever he tried to find him was right here. In the middle of the university grounds… and surrounded by guys… The bliss from a possible reunion soon turning bitter, stomach churning as he noticed how much attention he was getting.

The voice. That familiar voice. He could hear it amongst the flock. His horns always failed to hide his emotions like always. He looked up but it was clear that he was happy, excited to hear Urie and to see him again due to those damn things on his head. ❝..Urie..❞ He pushed through the crowed only to stop when he saw the girls surrounding him.

That’s right. These girls are just an item to Urie. To fill the void, to pass time. Still he didn’t like them being with him. He didn’t like them clinging to him. He looked calm, though those horns of him betrayed him again.

He smiled ❝..Did you miss me?❞ Because Shiki surely did miss him. He looked back when he felt a hand on his waist and he frowned. He stepped away, obvious that he didn’t want to do anything with these extras. He just wanted to be with Urie. He gripped his phone.

Shiki didn’t contact anyone for a long time. Well except for one person. He’s been staying with him at his place for so long. He never opened his shop and if he did, he made sure to do it during hours that he’d avoid certain people. Those were Roen and Urie. He didn’t want to see them, not when he wasn’t so sure of himself. The only person who could go to was Tsumugi. He knew everything that Shiki didn’t.

He wasn’t sure how long he stayed with him, he didn’t even go home, he just lived there for a while. Until he had everything figured out that is. His company was comforting to him. Probably because he knew a lot and he was the only one who he could trust. The only one who he didn’t have these emotions towards to.

He felt safe.

Who knows how long has it been, but Shiki finally went out on his own. He went back home, dressed up nicely and decided to pay someone a visit. After so long of silence, he went to see Urie. How long has it been since he stepped foot into the campus, since he last saw his... “friend”.

Being with Tsumugi, he learned a lot. What he knew was that these feelings, he shouldn’t be too scared of. These feelings weren’t something one would feel towards a friend but would feel towards someone much more valuable and stronger than a friend. A strong emotion that is called “Love”. An emotion Shiki never knew of.

This is what he was told.

Shiki stood near where Urie’s route usually takes him. He leaned back against the wall and looked down at his phone, scrolling through what can keep him from behind bored. Of course, him being there attracted attention. Unwanted attention.
