From a recent book haul! Got a bunch more but these look super intriguing.

-Organ Meats by K-Ming Chang
4 progressively more intense horror novels with child progonists!
The Devil Crept in is like a childhood mystery. Think kid learning of danger but no adult wants to be bothered with his nonsense.
Suffer the Children is so sad it's almost nauseating.
The Troop is so gross it's beyond nauseating. Truly grotesque contagion body horror!
And of course the Playground is… the Playground. You could read it but you may regret being literate. That being said, once you get past the infamous 40s pages, it's more an adrenaline rush survival puzzle and less icky shock value thingsss.
