Jameson's awakened to the sound of arguing, although he usually gets up earlier than the others, it's still pretty early even for him. It's Reid and Emory, although it sounds like Reid mostly.
They've been pretty combative the last few days, which is actually a pleasant switch from the catatonic state they were in before that. Probably brought on by a midnight seizure of some kind.. still, at least they're moving around and talking again and he doesn't have to put them down like a horse with a broken leg just yet.
It takes Jameson some time to get up, not wanting to deal with an argument this early in the morning. But still, he gets himself dressed and steps out of the tent. Heโs followed shortly by Cassidy, who evidently isnโt a morning person and trudges off to get himself coffee.
After a second of watching them keep at it, he whistles for their attention. โWhatโs the problem?โ
Reid is slouched over like a rag doll, eyelids heavy too. They don't appear to be in any pain, just so tired, and now they've begun slurring again. รYeah, we could call for a doctor.. but you should go find that farmerร
โโฆ.Iโm finding the doctor. Donโt move.โ Not like they have much of a choice in the state that theyโre in. Jameson grabs his coat and tugs it on as he steps into his boots, then he grabs his bag and his revolver. He takes one glance back at Reid, and then he hurries outside, his head whipping around as he looks for some kind of office or shitty hospital they might have walked past.
He sees a pharmacy, still closed as it's early in the morning. Some people walking to work look at him, as well as a woman carrying a large physicians bag in both her arms. She stops when she sees him looking at it. "..Are you okay? Do you need help?"
He takes a breath, nodding. โItโs my friend, theyโre sick and they got hurt last night. A bear attack. Weโre staying at the inn over there, if you donโt mind helping them.โ
"Uhh... yeah, I can take a look quick. I was helping somebody overnight, so I haven't got a lot of bandages.." She starts making her way to the inn, opening the bag to rifle around in it and see just how much supplies she's gone through already.
โI might have a fewโฆ But they arenโt bleeding, I think, so it should be okay. They just seem very weak, and they were slurring their words.โ He picks up the pace until heโs walking ahead of her, and moves to get the door.

Basically none, neither of them have been working and what money they did have, he spent most of it on bullets for the hunt. Reid wakes up at some point as well, but they don't really move, just watch him from their bed with tired eyes.
He exhales through his nose and closes his eyes for a second, mentally kicking himself again for even taking Reid with him on that trip yesterday. He glances over when he notices them watching, and sets the bag in his hands on his bed. โHow are you feeling..?โ

Itโs a warm summer evening, the sun beams through the trees towering overhead and birds chirp as they fly around. Itโs rather peacefulโฆ. Ignoring the stomping of boots on the ground and the sound of a dogโs heavy panting.
Killian is on her daily walk through the woods. This used to just be an excuse to walk her dog, thatโs what she tells herself, but paranoia admittedly has a strong grip on her. A silver knife and a pistol full of silver rounds are tucked away on her belt, just in case.
As the pair walk, her dog seems to catch a scent of something, and begins to sniff at the ground, its body crouched low. She, of course, follows, a hand on her gun in case something jumps out. Sheโs done this for so many years now that she no longer startles at every little thing, thatโs how you get yourself killed.
Eventually the dog darts off into some bushes, barking and sniffing at its findโฆ..Which appears to be a child, and it stops Killian in her tracks.
Luna lets out a small yelp as she sees the dog, running away and up a tree with surprising speed for someone so small, using the tree leaves as cover as she stares down at the woman.
She was young, no older than twelve. With white hair and sickly pale skin. That was not the strange part though, as she had a pair of fluffy white antenna sticking out of her head, and a set of moth like wings on her back. Her limbs were claw like an segmented like someone tried to make the limbs of a bug work for a person. Small tuffs of fluff connected to the limbs. A simple white dress hangs over her, mud stains having made its way into the fabric.
She was used to hearing the stomping of boots and the dogs heavy panting right before she woke up. Yet she was unprepared to see it. When she woke up to silence instead of the sound, she has simply assumed they had left the area or taken the walk earlier. So, she had left her hiding place early.
That was clearly a mistake as she was reaching out towards the branches, searching for a piece of the tree that could be broken off and waved at the woman until she went away.
Luna can see from the branch she's clinging to that the woman has tons of tattoos; almost every inch of her olive skin-besides her face-is covered in intricate linework. Her black hair is cropped short and sticking up in a mess, and the clothes she wears are just an obscure band tee and some thick jeans. Small silver jewelry adorns her ears, and she has two small piercings on her face as well.
Killian calls something out to the dog, and it very quickly returns to her side, panting and licking at its lips. It's clearly well-trained, as it sits perfectly still, alert as its head swivels around.
She frowns up at Luna, squinting her eyes as she watches her swing the stick at her. She looks like nothing she's ever seen before, and she's seen a lot, but it doesn't really phase her much anymore. She's killed a lot, too, but she can't hurt a kid, no matter what they are.
Her voice is a little hoarse, scratchy, but far from unpleasant, and she has a slight southern twang. โIโm sorry about her, she thought you were somethinโ else. You alright? She didnโt get you?โ
For a long moment, she stares at the woman and dog, wings twitching nervously. She looks at the tattoos and the dog, the woman looked like everything her guardian said not to trust. Then again, they weren't around anymore. Plus, she wasn't running away screaming, so that was something.
Slowly, she lowers the stick. Not like it was doing much anything. "No, she uh, she didn't get me. Just suprised me is all. I wasn't expecting anyone to be out here. When I didn't hear you early, I assumed you left or maybe came out sooner than usual."
She shrugs as if that thinking makes complete sense and it wasn't kid logic assuming something went away because you don't hear it. Her eyes flick between the dog and Killian. It was a bit unnerving. It looks like she doesn't have any iris in her eyes, in reality its a deep black but the two orbs flick back and forth nonetheless.
Killian is, admittedly, a little put off by her eyes. The only times she's seen ones like that have been on demons and other things trying to eat her. Clearly this kid couldn't seriously hurt her, though, seeing as she's clinging to a tree with a stick in her hand, but still.
"I see.." She coughs slightly, clearing her throat. "Well, I'm Killian, and this ball of slobber is Susie. We were just on a walk when she found you." She puts her hand on the dog's head, scratching it behind the ears, and then she looks back up at Luna. "What're you doing out here? Got lost?"

Reid makes a scoffing sound, shaking their head. They're slurring a little bit. รNo, not at all.. I think the bear knocked me around a little bit, but I'm not bleeding or anythingร
โOh, okayโฆโ Mori continues to hover around, sniffling and rubbing at their eyes. โDo you want me to get you water or something?โ
Jameson doesnโt look all too convinced. He stands up, his legs wobbling slightly as he steps around the bear and deer to collect his things. โRightโฆ Well, we should head back. You need to rest, and weโll find a doctor in the morning to check on you.โ
Heโs not sure if they can afford that, but it is what it is.
Landry thinks for a second, shaking their head as they scoot to stand. They hobble a little once up, leaning on one foot. "I'm good, let's get you back to bed.. I think I'll sleep on the couch tonight, my sheets are done for.. haha."
Reid nods and stands as well, looking around at everything. Dead bear, dead deer... guns, more guns than what they arrived with. There's a rifle that Jameson doesn't recognize on the ground a little ways away.
They step out of their way, shaking their head. โYou really shouldnโt move much.. I can get myself to bed.โ
He frowns at it, glancing at Reid, and all thoughts of leaving are immediately gone. He follows whatever little scent trail there is from the gun until he finds the dog he had ripped up, and just kind of stares at it with his hands on his head.
"Right.. okay, if you need anything just come find me." They start hobbling out to the living room, they want to parent Mori and be upset about them running into danger, but there's a time and a place for that and they're both a little frazzled still.
Reid has followed Jameson, pulling their bag over their shoulder as they look around the neighboring trees. ร...Okay, well it could be worse. Just a dog. Not sure about the gun though, I didn't see anyone else out hereร
Mori just nods, following after them to make sure they actually make it without needing help. โฆThey donโt leave, though, and instead curl up in the living room chair. Theyโre too afraid to sleep in their bed tonight after all of this.

The dogs are still there and begin growling and barking again, the one with bloody stained fur jumping up on the fence and snarling at them. He sees the house of the property off in the distance, most of the windows are dark. A sheep somewhere bleats nervously.
They of course hurry to lie down with them, curling up by their side. They donโt say anything, just cling to them and shiver.
Jameson takes the fence being broken as a sign of him having gotten through it somehow, even though he doesnโt see any dead sheep anywhere. He kneels down by the fence and touches the blood on the wood, rubbing it between his fingers with a sullen expression on his face. โโฆWe should check on who lives here.โ
Landry squeezes them for a second, rubbing their hand up and down their arm. They pull the blanket up over Mori, holding them close, and then try finally getting some sleep.
Reid cups their hands around their eyes, looking at the house leaning on one foot. รNot with these dogs.. and it doesn't look like anyone's awake. Maybe we can come back in the morning?ร
Mori pretty much falls asleep instantly, and they stay like that for the rest of the night.

Jameson takes the fence being broken as a sign of him having gotten through it somehow, even though he doesnโt see any dead sheep anywhere. Jameson's awakened to the sound of arguing, although he usually gets up earlier than the others, it's still pretty early even for him. It's Reid and Emory, although it sounds like Reid mostly.
They've been pretty combative the last few days, which is actually a pleasant switch from the catatonic state they were in before that. Probably brought on by a midnight seizure of some kind.. still, at least they're moving around and talking again and he doesn't have to put them down like a horse with a broken leg just yet.
It takes Jameson some time to get up, not wanting to deal with an argument this early in the morning. But still, he gets himself dressed and steps out of the tent. Heโs followed shortly by Cassidy, who evidently isnโt a morning person and trudges off to get himself coffee.
After a second of watching them keep at it, he whistles for their attention. โWhatโs the problem?โ
Landry shakes their head, scooting back to the edge of the bed as they put their feet back down on the floor, wincing. "We can't go outside, not until morning at least. It could still be out there."
Reid makes a scoffing sound, shaking their head. They're slurring a little bit. รNo, not at all.. I think the bear knocked me around a little bit, but I'm not bleeding or anythingร
โOh, okayโฆโ Mori continues to hover around, sniffling and rubbing at their eyes. โDo you want me to get you water or something?โ
Jameson doesnโt look all too convinced. He stands up, his legs wobbling slightly as he steps around the bear and deer to collect his things. โRightโฆ Well, we should head back. You need to rest, and weโll find a doctor in the morning to check on you.โ
Heโs not sure if they can afford that, but it is what it is.
Landry thinks for a second, shaking their head as they scoot to stand. They hobble a little once up, leaning on one foot. "I'm good, let's get you back to bed.. I think I'll sleep on the couch tonight, my sheets are done for.. haha."
Reid nods and stands as well, looking around at everything. Dead bear, dead deer... guns, more guns than what they arrived with. There's a rifle that Jameson doesn't recognize on the ground a little ways away.
