That’s how we feel about our hair

Unfortunately, people have a problem with a black women’s hair no matter what they do with it. Whether it is relaxed, natural or weaved up, it’s always an issue. 

It is our personal space, so please ask before touching somebody’s hair! And worry about your own hair and focus on growing them edges back… Because this is not a petting zoo!

Militarized Police and National Guard Attack #NoDAPL Protest Camp

This is a confession of a white guy who saw and felt white privilege himself and who just couldn’t keep silent. He decided to speak up and show everybody how it feels to be white and male in the US.

Shilo Murphy has has a lot of run-ins with the police, but he’s never been arrested. 

The system is mainly fueled by the mass media that pathologizing Black and Latinx people until trapping them in cages is normalized in the nation’s consciousness.

Denying racial oppression is just not seeing reality in the eyes.

This is happening in America & no-one seems to give a shit. 

He still showed up ‘cause he knows he has to work twice as hard to be (considered) half as good. People need to realize this happens all of the time, every day, not just in the news. He’s lucky to be alive. I hope mom sues the crap out of them!

Please, help me raise awareness of the systematic racism. This must STOP.
