okay another poem cause apparently thats my thing now
i turn to the side and see you there
i feel it in my chest and it rings out to the tips of my fingers
carved from marble with careful hands
who sent you here? you, from distant lands.
i trace your shape in my mind
trying to map you as if i could immortalise you
if i could learn each layer of skin, each nerve ending, each bone meticulously set
i could still never replicate you
every detail fits perfectly into the forest fire jigsaw of you
you twitch under my eyes, can you feel the force behind them?
your presence is your armour,
you black beauty, rockstar knight
we fit like night and day
fire and water
the vagabond pirate and
unswerving siren
to know you is to love you, dearest girl
my simple heart is yours. no doubt.
