GUYS THE THEORIES???? THE THINGS???? THE PARALLELS????

i really like the theory of ephemera being a parallel to sora. he’s introduced as being one of the innumerable pawns fighting for the foretellers, and, in a way, that’s kinda what sora’s role is too. sure he’s the chosen one or whatever, but he’s also described as being dull and ordinary, just some random kid.

I put Riku down as a “maybe” because, you know, Kingdom Hearts 1 aside, he’s generally a very kind, compassionate, self-sacrificing, generous, down-to-earth person, but I just don’t know if he’s in the right place, emotionally, to be making a serious, long-term, one-on-one commitment with anyone. He might just need more Riku time, which I think is always understandable.
